If you have a laptop (or PS3) with Skullgirls Encore that you can bring, it would help give us more setups!

With SGE coming out on PS3, the above won't be as much of an issue, but I still encourage people to bring laptops to help give as many setups as possible! Thank you!

The place will be on your right after get off the street car at College street going south.

A&C World is in the back of A&C Games.

When?
The exact date of each monthly depends on which Saturday A&C World has open for us to use, but the following will always be constant.

Day of Week: Saturday
Building Hours: 2pm-8pm
Tournament start: ASAP

PLEASE SHOW UP AT 2PM SO EVERYTHING CAN GET DONE ON TIME
WE ONLY HAVE 6 HOURS FOR 4 GAMES


Venue/Entry Fee?
Venue fee: 5$ for the whole day (you get an ink stamp on your hand and can come and go as you please for the whole day after paying)

Entry fee for all games: NONE-10$ (depending on how many people come and what people want to do)

I'm pretty flexible on this. I personally don't need money to motivate me to play well in a tournament, but if people want, we can do 2-5$ entry, but I think we should have at least 8 players to do this.

I feel like the bigger the tournament, the higher the entry fee could be.

At first, I was like, "good Lord, you guys got 56 people!" Then I was like, "oh, it was a round robin".

Glad you guys had a good tournament.

Just a reminder this is happening!
 
Arent Saturdays mainly capcom games? Most of the anime players come out on Sundays of NB so maybe turnout would be better if you moved it one day. Kinda bad that so many games get run on sunday that getting space + stream time would be hard.
 
If all goes well I can come and possibly bring 1-2 new players.

I run this on Saturday because I work Sunday and would rather not have to try and change shifts/book work off for it. That's one of the reasons I dislike going to NB because SG would always be on Sunday. Also, most, if not all, of the anime players don't play SG anyway.

Besides, this tournament isn't being run alongside any other games, so we have the whole place to ourselves, pretty much. lol

GGs and thanks for coming, everyone! I updated the results in the first post.

There might not be a monthly in April because of exams, so it might end up being in early May or not at all.

Toryuken is May 17-18 and UFGT is the weekend after, so if I don't have a monthly, show up to Toryuken (and UFGT if you can)!
 
Next one will be April 26!
 
If I don't go to hysteria Hamilton Ill come to this (need somebody to teach me this game). Also ill be there for Toryuken
 
This upcoming TOSG will also have Melty Blood and Arcana Heart 3.

Due to the PC version being ahead of PS3, we will only be using PS3s for the Skullgirls tournament as consoles are the standard for tournaments.

If the Big Band patch comes out before the monthly happens, then we can use both PS3 and PCs to play.
 
Good news, everyone!

With the patch coming out on the 22nd, we will be able to use both PS3 and PCs for the tournament because they will be both up to date!

July 5th has no tournaments going on, so we'd have the whole place to ourselves, but it's really close to EVO.

Thoughts?

I have added a facebook event page for this now (grr). Also, you can pre-reg for whatever game you want to enter. It's easier to organize the tournament if people pre-reg so I can make sure there are no conflicts of who's playing what game when.

There isn't one in august because there are too many events going on.

Just wanted to let everyone know that A&C World is moving from their current location to a new location just south on the same street. It's closer to College street now.
