USA [Dec 8, 2017] SALTY! Friday Weeklies @ Game Realms (Burbank, CA)

Use this

It'll make making the brackets much easier.

I may be kinda sorta excited

Yea I can bring a table that can fit like two monitors, my 5 filthy crts (need some standooes), some chairs. I can T.O. +R.

Question, I use an Xbox 360 controller. Will I need a converter to play with you guys?

yes, we only use ps3s/ps4s

SPREAD THE WORD GO GO GO GO

ALSO I vote we call it Salty Realms now. This is truly the domain of fighting games.

IDK if we'll make the first one, but if this stays stable enough I'd like to have a VMPNW+Liam team visit. <3

That would be so awesome.

The thread should be tip topped to let everyone know this is happening; I'm gonna enable RSVPing so people can get excited!

I really hope we can get back into the swing of having a local again. I really missed it

Now you all understand why I worked so hard to keep it going for 3 years. When FFA closed it felt like this but moreso, because nobody had any plans.

They're ALL Fridays.
Well, fuck me.
::finally loses patience with that saying::
::fucks Verdant like he wouldn't believe::
::Verdant spends the rest of his living days emptily seeking to recapture the feeling, and failing::

It's been so long. I've forgotten that you don't like me saying that.

Or you can help the dudes set up before the rest of the crew arrives.

Y'know, if they could use a helping hand.

Hope you guys get to stream it; I miss watching these.
Actually, shit. Do they have a streaming station/equipment?

Was this mentioned already and I'm just being a doo doo brian?

Yes, I purposely spelled it "brian".

We need to bring our own equipment to stream (Mike I assume you are bringing your LapMcTop?). I work that day but I get off at 6:30. I probably won't be there early though to help set up. I'll review the situation when I get there.

Yes, I'm bringing my stream stuff. They don't have stream stuff, they don't have a Twitch channel either although I told them to get one.

Can we just use LabZero for now? Provided it's not in use. Or hell most of us have twitch accounts so we can use whatever.

I have a question (it may be dumb)

How will this work? I've never attended any type of gaming meetup, and it's slightly intimidating. What can I expect?
You show up, tell people they're bad and you beat them. Pound your chest afterwards to establish a dominant male position.

You show up. You wear deodorant and have showered within the last day. People are there, you can talk to them about video games. You are not afraid to be a nerd, our loud, because that's the whole point. You play the games. Fun is had!

It's like going to someone's house to play games, only with more people and not at a house.

I'm loud and probably not very nice, but most other people there are the opposite. :^)
