Painwheel MDE Combo Thread (Page 3 Onwards)

Do you know what I am referring to though? I try to fly but she just looks like she is falling when doing a 2nd buer
I think I do yes. Its because when you're inputting L buer in the air, you fly downwards due to the inputs of QCT.

Don't forget to learn a carry combo eventually. It's a bit more practical and easy(decent damage from across the stage into the corner) than corner combos while doing a little less damage.

This is an easier version of the combo(Very similar damage though). The otg l buer is the biggest improvement as the move is faster than s.hp. Doing this on heavies is a little hard, but possible. Notice your position on the second buer. You want to be a smidge down while doing it so you can get to the ground faster and have an easier time getting the combo.

This is very team-specific, but here's a Painwheel->Peacock tag combo for people who use L george assist:

(HEAVIES: Cerebella, Eliza, Beowulf, Double, Big Band)
s.MP+L george, (no delay) j.MK fly f+j.LP>j.MK, c.LP>charged c.HP>tag
- Tag whiffs on Cerebella because her crumple stance is thin, so just take the hard knockdown

(THIN LIGHTS: Squigly, Painwheel)
s.MP+L george, DELAY j.MK fly f+j.LP>j.MK, c.LP>c.MK>charged c.HP>tag

(OTHER LIGHTS: Filia, Fukua, Peacock)
s.MP+L george, DELAY j.MK fly f+j.LP>j.MK, c.MK>charged c.HP>tag

(WIDE STANCE CHARS: Ms Fortune, Robo Fortune, Valentine, Parasoul. i.e. the characters who stand with their feet 10 meters apart)

...and then as Peacock, after the tag hits: OTG c.LK>c.MP>delayed c.MK>c.HP>M bang>argus


Thanks to Huffy for finding the Filia/Fukua/Peacock variation and Triblue for finding the wide chars variation. All I did was adapt those two combos to find variants that worked consistently on the rest of the cast.

What is Painwheel's typical BnB? I'm trying to reference this video that was posted a page back but it feels like I'm doing all of this very blind; did Painwheel's artwork change? I swear that first combo contains a button I can't visually identify (right after the very first re-jump / fly ?) Halp? D:

Two quick combos on what you can do after landing a charged CH c.hp. Not max but easy enough for good damage, and universal.

FIND HIM, MAKE HIM TEACH ME DAMAGE.

The problem is working with Robo, her damage output is odd and tends to touch normals pw will use once she's tagged in which isn't good. Finding damage requires knowing what buttons not to track and what undizzy to get at while also maximizing damage robo can do before pw is tagged in. Without using heads, it's proven to be quite the doozy for me.

I often feel like letting robo continue after the ground chain would just result in less damage due to undizzy and ips and shared normal usage between the two.
 
I remember him telling me off for my unoptimal midscreen.

I think it looks good. You followed the golden rule of buer pretty well. I think you might be able to do more damage in the second combo by making it more like the standard carry by doing buer immediately after s.mp. Also, use c.lp instead of s.lp.

I don't think Robo has anything that comes close to the efficiency of buer.

I guess it could be worthwhile if you can get heads.

What could improve these combos is adding Robo laser assist.
