Panzerfaust animation & still images

Grenade punch is cool, keep that. It's a spin on a usual idea. Also remind me of Rocket Raccoon's air move where he explodes a grenade really quickly.

Even though P.Faust is still one of the tallest characters we've seen, this Idle makes me look back at my drawings and realize that this is the better choice. Nicely done. I wonder how he would initiate light punches and kicks, though.
 
ideas
  • s.LP is a small, downward burst of steam from his tank hand. This is fast enough to serve as a light attack
  • all standing kick attacks are variations of marching, and are x2 rekka normals: s.LK is a featherstep (toes pointed down at 45 degree angle), s.MK it a high-knee march, and s.HK is a full-out goose step
  • all HP special moves can be rekka'd into a cannon ender when he has a shell loaded
  • lv3 is a LAPES tank drop

I feel like I'm missing a really obvious joke but doesn't he have a contract with you guys now? Loop hole.

They contracted me to provide voice work for one of their characters, not to design moves. For all intents and purposes, if it doesn't have to do with me voicing Beowulf, I'm still a fan. Therefore, any cool ideas I have are fan ideas, and Lab Zero does not solicit of accept fan ideas regarding what to put in the game. Were we to ever see something similar to what I (or anyone else) suggested, it would be like this:

See, now this is a character I could get behind.

Also, the LP from the first post is way too slow and way too long to be a LP.

Cool. I could see the Cannon-Jump being his Super Jump instead of an attack.
 
Decided to do some clean-up, but got distracted with slicing (splicing? splitting? :/ ) instead. Here's a dumb gif trying to show the benefits of slicing, mainly intended for cheap economical animation. For example, Yogi Bear has a collar because the animators could easily animate head and body separately, which was a big deal before digital tools. Panzerfaust happens to have a belt on his every limb :P
