So I was playing around and was trying Big Band and Peacock as a team and i found them very fun to play with together I was wondering if anyone can help me improve my game with them, anything thing helps.

As you see from my icons, I've been using them a lot as well. I'm a beginner, so all I have is:

I hear Band's HP Beat Extend is a good assist since Peacock doesn't have a DP.
Their Blockbusters combo into each other & are easy to remember (:QCF::PP:)

Sweet thanks

Sounds good. I've tried inviting many people in the Beginner's Matchmaking thread (PS3), but everyone must've been busy last weekend. I'll try you this weekend.

Cool, I'm up for that!

when playing peacock big band, the best assist for peacock would be brass knuckles h. It's armored, takes up a huge part of the screen, and knocks the opponent fullscreen away so peacock may continue zoning. If you want to go with beat extend I can't stop you, but brass knuckles can also be used as a "get off me" assist and unlike beat extend, it helps peacock zone. If you still want a dp assist I suggest putting another character on your team like parasoul and then put brass knuckles. I'm sorry I keep repeating it but Brass knuckles is amazingly good with peacock you shouldn't even consider anything else if you're playing big band with peacock. as far as assists peacock should use for big band, any projectile pretty much works. none of peacocks assists are that amazing for big band. However, vice versa brass knuckles is pretty amazing.

There's two assists you wanna use with Peacock.

Brass is the general go to assist, but if you're fighting a good Painwheel it's generally useless. You'll want Beat Extend for that match up unless you already have Updo or Napalm Pillar for your anti air assist. Valentine also has an easy time getting above it and coming down with her normals, but it at least gets some utility against her.

However against painwheel and valentine, you really don't need a dp as Peacock has plenty of options against them. You can do j.hk, item drop (sometimes hold it), hk bomb, and j.lk. Keep with brass knuckles for your assist as you really don't need help with anti airing. Brass knuckles will control the ground space so you can focus keeping projectiles in the air. If however you still want a dp, pick a different character like parasoul.

Wouldn't Take the A Train H be perfect against Painwheel?

She hits too many times, too fast.

You're better off using your projectiles to maneuver her into a dp.

I'll try out all 3 when I play Painwheel to see what I like better

Gonna Be honest I've found that I like Giant Step for the two of them just because of the way I play Peacock but Brass Knuckles is definitely the better assist due to the range and super armor and Beat Extend is incredibly helpful for squashing jumpers also I'm weird and like the screwball cannon ball on Peacock but George at the Airshow is incredibly helpful for Band because he is combo fodder due to his height and size covering that with George is incredibly helpful and it can set up some of Band's hard hitting aerial combos

Are you asking for help with assists or replying to yoyo? This thread is pretty old to be replying to anyone in it if you were replying to yoyo.

well I actually didn't pay attention to the date so yeah I was |-(

After discovering the fun of using M A-Train my Peacock team is Peacock-George Day Off/Parasoul-L Tear Shot/Big Band-M A-Train. I still have difficulty with Peacocks air string of jmp, jhp, adc, jlp, jmp xx the rest. So I figured screw it and replace the Air String with M A-Train xx lv2 Item Drop, lk, cmp, cmk, chp, chk xx Item Drop Hold xx Argus xx Item Drop xx Argus.

In general I also like it for when you throw out A Train when you trade Air to Air to catch, along with its other applications.
