Pokemon

-Decidueye has loads of special attack that could've gone into speed.
-Incineroar doesn't get Knock Off or Sucker Punch
-Alolan Forms don't get BST boosts, or stat re-allocation
-So many Pokemon with below average Speed
tumblr_n59w20HPEy1tuuk2go1_400.gif

-Vikavolt has 45 base speed

but nah, this gen is pretty cool outside those points listed above. All we need is an item that increases Trick Room Turns. I mean, Terrain has been around less than Trick Room, and it got a turn boosting item. It should happen... right?..... RIGHT?.....

why tf is vikavolt so dang slow, the last time I looked at its stats it's defenses were like a glass cannon I thought?

Well he's a slow glass cannon now lol my favorite Pokemon stat wise this Gen has been Salazzle

I found a list featuring details on new moves, as well as what BP and any special effects old moves have when used as Z-Moves.

New Moves are closer to the bottom

Im curious to know if the Eternal Floette are in the game

Holy crap, I decided to calc how much extra defense Bewear technically gets against contact moves due to Fluffy, and in that circumstance it basically has 200 Base Defense. This thing is gonna be a monster against Physical attackers, Super Effectiveness be damned!

Here's every version exclusive. Sun on the left, Moon on the right.

I want Moon to be my main game but Sun has cooler exclusives to me :P

The fuck, Moon gets Goodra? What kind of horseshit is this?
Good thing I already got one from Pokemon Y, fuck y'all.
It's more like Moon is burdened by Goodra.

Goodra is like

Goomy: MY BOY

Sliggoo: M Y M A N

Goodra: oh no they ruined it by giving it anime eyes :/

Am I seeing Goodra hate.
Come on guys I was just getting over you mocking me for liking FFX
We aren't mocking you.

We're mocking the pile of sludge known as Goodra.

They gave it anime eyes

and now it's subjugated to guro and other fucked up shit :C

Personally I like the spreads of exclusives, I mean Sun does have an influx of Dragons and attack orinted Pokemon, but Moon has in influx of steel and defensive pokemon. But Moon has the better new exclusives IMO, well other than Snowslash vs Snowpix and maybe Lycanroc forms (thou Midnight counters Midday with counter vs Accelerock)
Plus I'd take Goodra any day over edgelord Garchomp.

Exclusives don't even matter anymore, it's easier than ever to just trade for 'em.

I suggest to everyone to do the event in the demo today you get a comet shard out of it (the third highest selling item to date . . .)

Other then the fact that Lycanroc (Moon) gets No Guard as a HA seems to be the only thing going for it, I mean it has decent HP, defences but thats about it. Lycanroc Sun seems better seeings as its gets a Rock Priority move and its has nice attack (Same as Moon form) and great speed for a Rock type.

Necrozma, Kartana, and Celesteela have been officially revealed... which basically just means we have Sugimori art now.

Crystal Meth man, Origami man, Japanese History Enthusiast Lass.

The Lass UB is like Bamboo to me.

That is actually because it seems Celesteela might draw inspiration from the Japanese folktale The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, also sometimes known as The Tale of Princess Kaguya. The story centers on Princess Kaguya, a princess of the Celestial race that lives on the moon in Japanese Mythology, who is sent to Earth and discovered inside a massive Bamboo Shoot by a commoner. Celesteela has many elements that are vaguely related to that story, like visual elements of Rocket Ships, Bamboo, and visual elements of Japanese Priestess Robes and a Hime cut hairstyle.

Oh! Thanks for the explanation :D

I usually dislike Nintendo's obsession with putting memes in their games, but I can't hate this one. The fact it's actually relevant to the series helps

The fact that it's the only weather setter to get a switching move (U-Turn) is really good. It's also decently physically defensive, so having a slow U-Turn allows you to bring in your rain sweeper safely. Rain Boosted Hydro Pump/Scald and 100% acc Hurricane aint half bad either.

And a Weather setter with recovery

Torqual, Vanilluxe and Gigalith get a Weather Ability too :PUN:

Araquanid, the Water/Bug Spider with the new Water Bubble Ability, turns out to have an unstated function to its Ability. On top of making it resist Fire moves and have Burn immunity, it also doubles the Base Power of Water Moves. Liquidation (the new 85 Base Power Physical Water move), gets boosted to 170 BP, and that's before STAB. Despite this Pokemon's paltry base 70 Attack, it is going to hit like a Truck with Water moves. It even gets Entrainment for Doubles...
