PS3 PSN Matchmaking Thread

No I'm in the PTZ, so can't get out of work & travel by 4PM. Maybe next week. I'm beginner-level, but am on PSN today. I'll try inviting you to a lobby for practice if that's OK.

travel? WHOA WHAT!!!? It's an online tournament. The only thing you need is internet and a ps3. Just enter the irc link located on the skullbats thread next friday.
 
Oh I know it's online. I got off work at 4:30, then had to travel to my brother who has the PS3 & have dinner. So I wasn't ready til 7 PM PTZ. Ah well, maybe I'll get to try next week.
I tried out that link, but have no idea what to do when the next screen appears. I asked in the Beginner questions topic as well. After I enter my nickname & #Skullgirls, nothing seems to happen. For other games, on GameFAQs I usually just give my PSN & get an invite to a lobby.

the link is just to the chat. Just being in the chat is how you enter the tournament. At the time of the tournament the host will look at who is in the chat and make a bracket. you look at the bracket see who you are suppose to play, then you let your opponent know that you are ready and either you or them will send an invite via psn and play. after you are done you go back into the chat and tell the host what the score was. finally you wait for your next match and repeat the process. If you want to be a part of the tournament, just go into the chat and STAY THERE (a lot of people went in and left just as quickly before the tournament started). That's it. Also keep in mind that sometimes the tournament starts late due to unfortunate circumstances. So if you are running a little late, you should still try to enter.

Unfortunately I can't play now, currently in the middle of updating payday 2 and then I am gonna watch the skullgirls stream sorry about that.

Don't worry about it, any time is fine though I have some work to get done this week. Regardless, I'm usually on several times throughout the week, most likely at night (around 10 pm cst)
