K a few things.

Whats the correct way to approach double as PW?
as i thought i wont be playing big band seriously but jesus he is so much to use.
as it stands now i know 6 characters well enough to form teams. Well now i have two main teams and both do exactly what i want but to recap on the main teams


Filia/fukua/bella

Updo/m shaodw/ h lnl

The team comp is by far my favorite point filia team. M shadow really provides a moving hitbox that needs to be blocked and filia can get right in. Bella also makes various resets and filia's dp safe. Also lets fukua and filia condition people to jump. And is a damaging team thanks to lnl.

The other main team

Soul/filia/fukua

L shot/h updo/h drill

So this is the team i love talking about.
this team allows fukua to get in meterlessly.
L shot with fukua improves zoning. Makes her resets better. Makes c.mp resets even stronger and a certain setup that band players cannot mash out of.
Filia with h drill is just good. Its simple and gets people to the corner where i can operate. Also ringlet plus drill is good and so is updo macro with hdrill. Most improtantly because parasoul can get the opponent to the corner i can do a tag in fukua then tag into filia if i wanted to.

Team guymelef is alright. But i'm looking for good squig team.
i should use fukua's c.mk instead of l shadow but holy shit its good for parasoul and not so great for pw....dammit

Hbeam/pillar/Copter.....


Converts ground throw meterlessly

j.hp+copter is great

This team is...fucking....great. it allows me to get three heads with copter and i can freely tag to any of my characters. mine allows me to tag in soul or bella and i can hide. hidden moussiles ensure that i'll tag in for free with any of my characters and i get free pressure.
 
ok time to explain this team.


So robo essientially being the zoner but not like peacock. Robo relies heavily on assist and she works best with something that allows her to convert things. Cerecopter does that and even more. Its a wall that people must block at some point. From there i can gather heads and do w.e i want at that point.
Bella's raw tag gets me in there while hidden mousilles do the work. it also covers parasoul's tag.

jump back j.hp+copter allows conversion across the board and converts my midscreen grab meterlessly and is a good defensive option. S.hp+copter is a good defensive measure if used right but i currently do not know its limits so i will keep playing until i get double snapped then figure out why.

H beam makes people duck. parasoul and bella can make use of that very well. parasoul benefits greatly from an assist that sticks people in place which copter does fantastically. I think this is the robo team i will use for the future. but my main teams are
Filia/Fukua/bella
Parasoul/Filia/Fukua.

Mike gave me advice and i was working on it. Now its a reoccurring problem and i do not know how to fix it.

Jumping in neutral. but not just that. I get really impatient against val.

I played duck with parasoul team and lost 0-5.

I switched to Filia point team and still lost but it was 11-6. there were many times where i could've won but i kept jumping and got caught in the landing frames after pushing a button.

Also some resets were just plain sloppy my defense was decent but my decision skills in the heat of the moment needs work. I didn't really have a good ground game because i felt my buttons were inferior but i also have to remember that blocking the normals is essentially part of the ground game process. My PBGC were fine and my AC's were fine but i don't think i capitalized on them as well as i should have. My fukua resets seem fine i just need to be more confident when i fight stronger players.

Duck's advice after the entire set:
Be more patient in general.


Fukua Training phase 1: Revisit particular resets and see how tight i can make them.

Phase 2: Re-look over the replays of where i lost the matches and figure out how and why i lost the matches.

Phase 3: Do my best at summerjam.

EDIT: ALSO I DID NOT CAPITALIZE ON FUKUA"S BURST BAIT WHEN DUCK PUSHED A BUTTON AND I SHOULD JUST STOP PLAYING FOR THAT!

Teams:
Filia/Fukua/Bella=Set team for any matchups, Fukua point for certain things but other than that its a completed team in my books. Assist: Updo,M shadow, H lnl

Parasoul/Filia/Fukua= This is the team that is most fun but i'm currently am having trouble between using H drill or M shadow. M shadow controls ALOT of space and the type of space parasoul is not good at sometimes and allows immediate access to vortex that soul her self cannot create.

H drill allows corner carry, pressure and helps sets up tears just like M shadow only problem with this assist is that it has poor vertical coverage and is very easy to jump out of.

Robo/Parasoul/Bella
H beam/L shot/Copter
This team in itself has so much potential that i may look into it further.

Ultimately I want to start a local scene in Pittsburgh, but am unsure how to go about it. Josh gave me a link to a potiential place to start it and I jumped on it. so now i wait
 
Ok long update with strong discovery(albeit late) on parasoul team:

Weakness: has no real armor to combat low commit assist(M shadow, M item drop)
Mainly horizontal based. Basically a modified version of soul/filia/double. Not truly a weakness but just a thing to work around. Double jump characters

Strengths: corner carries. Tag into fukua from anywhere and still combo. Fukua's H drill pushes them so far that parasoul's j.lp,j.lk,.jmp, s.hkXX Filia Tag works wonderfully and gets filia to put them in the blender. C.mp+pre-emptive drill is great for footsie range. L shot + drill is wonderful at mid range.

The fact that H drill breaks armor is a blessing and helps parasoul's ground game.

The main goal is to get to the air before the opponent does. I just need to use all of my buttons a bit better and i'll be set for this team. It does lose to a few matchups like fortune unless i use M shadow. Which is primarily so that i can set tears in neutral and perform my ground game like i should be.


also more tech finding later on in the night.
 
So double. I put her on team uzu which is

Pillar/M bomber/ Copter.

M bomber does all of what i wanted it to do. which is heavy momentum for Parasoul. Playing this team for a bit and decided that i will learn double and consider her onto one of my staple teams.

Also learning fortune again and leaving PW out for a bit.

Can't wait to find some sort of tech and record!

Notes to focus on:

Butcher's blade. This assist invalidates almost any assist that I want to call. Currently boosts' ms.fortune's ground game by tenfold.

Doing safe resets that heavily limited the opponent's aerial options.
Play better people that are willing to play and always thank them for the learning experience(even if the matchup sucks).

So big update:

I've seriously picked up val and am running the classic val team: Val/filia/double, c.mk/updo/bomber

I've also put fortune back on the team and am using fortune/fukua/parasoul, this is using cat slide/H drill/ L shot

so in summary i now have 4 teams that i want to improve on!

filia/fukua/bella

Parasoul/Filia/fukua
Fortune/fukua/parasoul
Val/Filia/double

The ones in bold i plan to work on learning how my team works
 
Why am i finding stuff for characters i do not use?
Dude tell me about it, I have done nothing but training mode with Squigly for the past few days.

Actually the team I've been working on is Double/Squigly/Big Band. So I took my best character off the team, hahahaha, h e l p m e

is it the Josh cause french twist assist (I don't why you say it's the Josh ;_; you came up with it ;_;)

Also you gave me an idea with c.hp into IAD j.lp
 
yeah you do one reset with c.hp into IAD j.lp, j.lk. It just gave me an idea for a midscreen setup thank you for the inspiration I'll be sure to call it the 'Twerk" ;^)
