air to air? uh... jumping mk? that's an okay poke. if it's closer then j.mp. I wouldn't use lk or lp because of their range. Hp is situational and hk i would use as more of a mobility tool when jumping outside of a combo.

But that's my take on Robo Kitty. someone else might play her differently.

if j.mk gets blocked go into j.hk directed down and towards your opponent. they will most likely push block at that point so just double jump cancel ( unless this is super jump A2A ) and either do j.mp or delayed air grab.
 
I dropped robo, sadly.

Reasoning: her A2A's do not exist at all. Air throw and a decently placed j.lk is aight but other than that????? her assist are cool and what not but she's not a good comeback character and you need a good vertical coverage assist or something. Overall even with H beam i don't think she's worth placing her anywhere on a team.

Back to looking for a bunch of 2ndary teams i guess.

OK so, after WBX I will be doing ALOT OF THINGS!!!!!!!!!!! (my main highlight of the whole event was just talking to peanuts, it was a blast and i'm glad that he made it so far even though he didn't like fighting certain people) also it was the first time ever EVER that i went to "coach" someone and that someone was mcpeanuts......all i said was "stay calm you got this".

One of which is I gotta look at the Fukua compendium and see what's up and what's not up and update the implementation to it, which is not hard at all surprisingly!

NEXT, i want to do a video series about Fukua, Pretty much covering her normals, Specials, Resets and overall synergy with a team. I really really wanted to do this for a while and I'll try not to slack.

I will definitely call para/filia/fukua my main team but i do want to practice Para/robo/fukua because i think the team is ALSO very very good for when i played casuals with drewski.

One thing I do think i need to work on is my tourney nerves and unfortunately i just have to attend more tournies WHICH REMINDS ME i will be doing my best to attend more. my Majors for this year is summerjam, NEC, CEOTAKU. Not sure if i can make CB and for that i might be a bit sad but i want to cheer everyone on.

My main focus will be towards improving and helping out people, I love talking about the game mechanics and stuff and talking with people really makes it worth the experience. That's my thought drop for today. I'm sure i will get frustrated down the road but when i see mcpeanuts, Sage, Dolfinh, shade (the list can go on), I appreciate their hard work, their work ethic and I want to challenge myself every day. It makes me have focus. I feel as though I owe it to the community that took me in DESPITE my past with people on the internet that i should be working just as hard and help out other people and share more about the game! Ok i'm done now.
 
I just saw all my matches. I'm extremely intrigued by losers finals and grand finals. There's things i have to work on though and i'm glad that i have videos to look at(and will do an analysis later):
 
So this is a post regarding my 2ndary team: para/robo/fukua alt order: fukua/robo/para

I find in any order i put them them in its fine.

But why i listed those order?

Ideally the main order being: para/robo/fukua is what i would like to run. HOWEVER there are cases where zoning against para is too strong so i switch over to fukua/robo/para which is just as strong and allows me to use my mixups as i normally would. Its also the only team i really like parasoul anchor as opposed to my main team.

Characters to try out or revisit:
Peacock:
Peacock/filia/Para (slow bomb or M item drop)/H updo/H shot

Val:
Val/bella/double or val/para/bella

Fortune:
Fortune/para/bella

Teams i like to play:
Main: Para/fi/fu
2nd: Para/robo/fu or fu/robo/para

Double/Squig/Bella
 
picking up Painwheel again and she feels like one of the characters that really make matters difficult.

Of course i thought the best solution would be using double/pw/para but i find bomber kinda annoying to use since i can't convert off of it as well as i would like.

I'll look for ideas for teams next time i strim or something. Meh
 
Played a set vs mock and dolfinh

mock's set was 4-10(?) my favor. i can't remember the outcome i just know that i won and it during my strim

Dolfinh ended up being 6-10 in my favor despite being in a depressed mood. I really like to see those play and playing them really opens my eyes to see how each player approaches the game and how they take their view and enhance it.

Also been learning PW, mainly because a friend of mine that's rapidly improving needed MU experience. so i learned PW and oddly enough i feel like she fits the criteria for my character and now i am seriously playing her.

My team for her is para/PW/double and I will strongly consider that my 2ndary team instead of para/robo/fukua there are still some stuff i need to learn BUT i actually have more fun playing that character than robo.

More Research to do.

But really, like Pickles said: Become a flying fuck. From what I know, Painwheel is pretty good at flying.
 
Yeaaah i dropped robo for now. that character frustrates me like no other. not only is my problem that the character restricts my choices. but also shit can snowball so fucking fast its scary. DHC order puts robo anchor and that doesn't jive with me at all.

in other news i made a new parasoul team that suits my play

Para(L shot)/H lnl/ Osiris spiral

another experimental eliza team is prolly gonna be fukua/horus/ L bomber
 
I will compile notes at some point. even though i won. i am not happy playing parasoul against zoners. it REALLY pisses me off. but robo def takes the piss for such a character. oh well.

So, I now commentate for Skullbats and @mcpeanuts gave me really really important advice and i want to archive it.

KPB | McPeanuts: ok so the thing i wanted to say was
KPB | McPeanuts: early in the tournament just try to focus on people who probably won't get very far
KPB | McPeanuts: late in the tournament definitely stream the matches that have high stakes
KPB | McPeanuts: DEFINITELY if only 1 or 2 people are 4-0 at the end you have to stream that match cause it decides the tournament

Other than that i feel confident in my main team and sub team nowadays. i can't make it out to many tournaments this time around but i DO WANT TO FUCKING MAKE IT TO CEOTAKU SO I CAN FIGHT GLLT and I WANT TO MAKE IT TO GUTS SO I CAN PLAY WITH FRIENDS IN THE SGC

Edit: Parasoul vs headless fortune, I need some serious help since no one plays headless and it reminds me why parasoul has a hard time against fortune but i can't even place why on earth headless is such a bother.

I use l shot/copter/ axe now. The mixups backed up by axe is pretty cool but i def need to play with more before i feel 100% comfortable.

However a new theory team i want to try is robo/beo/band
H beam/h chair/h brass. God knows how long before i learn this team
 
Ok this is mainly regarding my 2nd team which i will do a write up in the next month and then produce content for both teams.

I participated in Clawmaster's tournament and overall i am not happy with a few things. One of the things is neutral with eliza.

the other one is double. People know full well how much i hate big band and his utter existence. kinda like how people hate fukua for existing.....but now this is a problem that i am fairly interested in learning how to beat.

Para vs double i normally do not like in neutral but if i hit her she dies and i got M egret sometimes and stuff to combat double if i play it right.

Eliza vs double is ???????? I actually hate that matchup the most. double can do alot of actions that eliza has to be in the effective range to properly read and H dp and hopefully it pans out. I asked fenster and come to realize that even he,lazy and socks don't know what to fucking do other than pray the read was correct.

Could this be eliza's worst MU? What can i do to improve the neutral aspect on approaching her? asking any double players about this matter and some advice tips.

also as far as this team goes i really like it and i want to improve on it. Until next time!

double vs eliza: obviously its good for double. L luger shuts down a great deal of eliza's approach options. The good news is that once you get in double is really tall so eliza gets to do a lot of instant overhead shenanigans on her. Your approach is probably super jump forward and block or dashblock, since IADs get you shot unless you're close already. You cant really do sweep to approach since double can cilia slide you for trying. Double can't really keep you out forever though and when you get in double is probably dead so there's that going for you. You just have to be VERY patient in your approach, you don't really get to press buttons while moving at double but once you're in you win. H dp on a read doesn't really sound that good, I think at that range you're probably close enough to start trying to open double up.

Eliza Can't Jump or IAD against Lugar even at point blank, lugar is just way too fast and reels her hurtbox too far back. And Eliza doesn't have many fast horizontal pokes (like say Parasoul sLP) to hit that either, sHP is way too slow as is sMK's extended hitbox. As far as I've been able to find, either you chicken block and pray the double's don't go for air throws, or you try H DP at range since nothing else can get through L Lugar. ALSO I forgot to say this before, but I've been trying out cMP/cMK to slide under L lugar as well (cLK isn't far enough usually), so maybe try that when you're at the up close range but still too far to press normal buttons to try and go under the bullets?

That always gets me, i like to do l luger after a m luger blockstring to punish jump ins, and i forgot that this move low profiles it
 
^--- Now i do match analysis videos on the daily or try to at least. This helps me more than the clients/players that i critique because if i can explain a situation or an occurrence and provide adequate and helpful advice to others then that i means i fully grasp the concept and immediately respond appropriately.

Update concerning teams:

I do enjoy para/bella/eliza and i have streamed against some of the best players with this team. I also tried para/double/eliza and i find double/axe absolutely fun and a joy to play with.

here are the optimized axe combos that are universal that i seem to forget to use at times. I will do a write up of Para/bella/eliza and explain the utter concept of this team. I have a lot to do for the SGC and this is only the start, I promise.

In regards to your match analysis stuff, you might want to make them more succinct and thought out. You could do the sort of analysis you did here initially in order to take notes and then, later on, make a shorter (~20 minutes would probably be good) video where you already have all of your thoughts laid out and are ready to talk about them. This makes your advice clearer and improves the presentation as well as cutting out some of the empty space where you are waiting for matches to begin. People are also more likely to watch the videos and find them useful since I doubt many people are willing to sit through nearly two hours of analysis. The way @mcpeanuts does his match analysis videos is, imo, what you should be aiming for.

Of course, doing them that way takes more time, so if the intent is to cover as many matches and people as possible then I guess this format is good for that.
 
I will consider it. The main thing is that i just stream and talk from there.

You do have a point and i've already am looking at ways to improve it. I definitely need a focus point on how many matches to review and which ones. I might limit it to 3-5 matches total and go from there.
