Beta is (mostly) for people who contributed in the kickstarter. Skullgirls and endless beta have different entries on Steam. it is not an opt-in beta

No? You used to get it just by buying the game on Steam. Dunno if that's still the case, but it was definitely not an IGG-backer-only thing.

Aw, come on! let me be a foul-mouthed rambling old dood i usually am.

Thing is, i got my beta key in the backer days (and i still curse myself for not putting more money on it to get the art compendium... I have 50 bucks separated for almost a YEAR waiting for it to be sold in another way, but that's another matter entirely), so i got mine thiking it was a "bonus" for supporting the game.

As far as who gets access to the Beta - I dunno what the deal is with that. I thought the plan was that only IGG backers were gonna get it, but then everyone who bought it got it for a while so then I thought it was just gonna be everybody.
I legitimately have no idea who has it or why at this point, I just update the builds. :^P

I will inquire, though.

Can you give me the info of the person who gave it to you? I'd like to know what type of thing they purchased.
It's possible they just have to gift you the Beta as well.

If that is somehow not the case, if you add me as a friend I can give you an SG code with the beta.

The game was gifted to me by based Hopscawtch and, as seen on his steam page, he does own the Beta.

I've also purchased and gifted several copies of SG myself, through Steam, and I don't believe anyone I've given the game to owns the beta either.
So, bloodlustkiller and nya were both gifted by me and for some reason they have the beta, so it must just have been an issue with how I received SG then. :|

Someone tried gifting SG to me again and still, no beta. ;A;

Just got this email from Steam support.
I'm not sure if I can actually even get the beta since I redeemed the CD code on another account I had and had no access to the beta at all even though SG was not on that account at all.

RIP me.

I'm just gonna cry until Eliza comes out, but thanks everyone for the help.
