awesome so much new content coming so quickly i love it!
 
so Fukua is getting no new stage then? or is it both her a new stage and canopy having the finalized music?

Seriously though thanks for creating Fukua and getting her to us, even if she was born from a joke she is now a permanent member of the game.


Now, out of curiosity, Besides what went to Fukua and Double (and what Robo Fortune may be getting), how many more unused frames are there squirreled away for the rest of the cast?

I'd probably call Rooftops Assault a "new" stage because the work that went into it was pretty significant, and it got new music.

Fukua patch will also have a remixed stage, but it will get a new track, too.

So a "new" stage might just be a remix of an existing one. I have my theory and I'll just keep it too myself.

So, a remixed stage with Fukua's patch and two new stages with the Eliza patch? w00t!

I'm already hyped knowing the Glass Canopy theme is coming with the Fukua patch.

Apparently because it is not DLC and just an update,
So is this going to be a compatibility DLC for XBLA?

Problem is enough information was already floating around so that people could deduce that something was up. I'm all for a mystery but if you accidentally reveal whodunit in the first act there isn't much cause to pretend like you're surprised at the climax.

Granted not everyone knows what's up so there isn't any reason to ruin the surprise for them.

Back on topic, it's a Title Update and an accompanying Compatibility Pack redownload for XBox, which is what it will always be on that console.

It's mostly because there's no store update to wait on for DLC.

Sony has, like... 2-3 week store lead times. So the Big Band patch took like two days to approve, but then we had to wait two weeks for the store update to release the unlock.

Also, patching goes through a different system, one that we control more closely.

Not only are the testing times shorter because it's a patch and not a full game, but we can release it ourselves as soon as it's approved in all territories.

Like, I literally hit a "Deploy" button, and 20-30 minutes later the update will start showing up when you boot the game.

I see, It is good, I guess two generations more and consoles will have the same patching system as Steam.

Springtime for Maplecrest would be cool and all but like Mike said, we're lucky she even exists. Mike Z rant about how ungrateful we are as the background music would be glorious, considering his voice is already music to my ears...
 
Will "In Just a Moment's Time" be accessible in any other non-credits parts of the game?
That song absolutely rulez....
I'll be sad to see it go from Glass Canopy, but I'm sure the new music will also be a 10/10 exceptional godsend.

Er, I don't think we had decided that yet. We have to have most of the cast back anyway for new lines, so I guess she'd be included in the list...?
