Report Skullgirls Encore Available In More EU Regions (UPDATE: Availability Sporadic)

Update: Despite what the articles may say, availability of the game is somewhat spotty and not yet guaranteed. Some users have chimed in that it's available for purchase in some of the stated territories, however.

According to the offcial EU Playstation blog and playstationtrohpies.org, Skullgirls Encore is now available for the PS3 in the following countries:
  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Luxembourg
  • Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Russia
  • Sweden
  • Switzerland
  • Ukraine
The news comes seemingly out of nowhere, with Lab Zero apparently not even kept in the loop as to this turn of events.

OK, so... when setting up the DLC I must've fucked something up, because I don't have data for all the new countries for the DLC in Sony's system. I'm putting it back in now, and requesting that it be expedited.

...However, SCEE has been completely unresponsive to us for the last two weeks, so I don't expect we'll get it expedited. And in that case, Squigly and the color pack DLC won't be out until 5/7.

Really sorry for all the troubles, my extended EU family.If it's any consolation, I do believe that Big Band should be out at the same time as all the other EU countries, next week on the 23rd. This is the date SCEE has in their system, so I expect it to be the case, but we haven't been able to get a person to confirm it for us.

But, come next week, you'll likely be in the odd situation of having Big Band, but not Squigly... :\

Would be great if people in those regions could help us confirm whether or not it did actually become available. Right now all we have is an automated listing of "4/16" on Sony EU's internet network, and a post on playstationtrophies.org. A couple of people on our fb page have reported that they haven't seen it, and I'm not seeing it on the PSN web stores for those regions.

Sadly, we can't officially say "It's out!" until we get some kind of real confirmation, and we won't post on our official channels (fb, twitter, etc) until we do. :[

For what it's worth, the expanded availability was mentioned on the official PSN update for this week. A quick Google suggests that Skullgirls is out in Finland, at least (log out of yer PSN account to avoid the redirect to your home country), although the DLC isn't.

So can someone who actually is affected by this issue tell us if they're able to get Encore now? And the Squigly DLC? We're totally in the dark here, and want to be prepared when we announce other stuff and people ask us wtf is going on.
 
Seems like the issue is unresolved. I am a sad render.

Can the people in the new countries check their PSN Download lists? The other EU countries got their game early this way, so maybe that applies here?

No sign of Skullgirls Encore in my download list (using the Dutch version of PSN). I've been checking it rather obsessively since yesterday morning. :P
 
Could we get this news item changed to say something like "HOLD THAT THOUGHT. NOT QUITE YET. SORRY. COME BACK LATER." or similarly uhh... cautionary?

Not in download list, and not in store. Ru PSN.
 
Skullgirls Encore is now available on the Dutch version of the PSStore! Looks like you guys yelled loud enough. Thanks! Hopefully the game is available in the rest of Europe as well, but I have no way to verify that. No sign of the DLC yet, though.

How about your PSN Downloads list? Do you have your Entitlement for the free SG Encore?

No, it wasn't in my PSN Downloads list. I couldn't resist and just bought the game again. Yeah... I'm not very good with managing my money. :P

Dutch PSN here too. It is in the store, but not in my Downloads list. No Entitlement either (where is it supposed to show up, btw?)

If you bought Vanilla SG from the Dutch store then your old SG download fille will be replaced with the Encore version in the Downloads list. You have to redownload the game. I use an Irish account and this is how it happened for me. The Entitlement PMs were only in the NA version.

Belgian store here,
Game's there, unlock is there, no dlc and I didn't recieve an entitlement in my dlc list. Bought the original on 2/5/2012 according to my receipts.
 
Finland here.

Saw Encore in the store, don't think I saw the DLC on there and no entitlement in the download list just the stuff for the original.
 
Skullgirls Encore is available in Austria, No DLC there, no entitlements in Download list or messages.
 
Update:

To test I remove my old install and reinstalled from the downloadlist.
It installed the old version.
 
Thank you for the reports, guys. We're trying to get this resolved ASAP. This really helps us get a handle on the situation, and is much appreciated.
 
Well, Skullgirls Encore is present in the Polish PS Store already. But not in my downloads, there's only the old, original one.

Oh, and there's no DLC either, just the game. Still no entitlement though.

I'm trying to escalate this through SCEA, and got a positive response from them this morning.

They're going to try and reach out to some more senior "trustworthy contacts" at SCEE in hopes that we can unstick some of these issues.

While the extended European entitlements is a big concern to us, of course, right now I'm also concerned that Big Band won't launch for free like Squigly did. At least they seem to be able to fix that relatively quickly.

I'm in Belgium. I've seen Encore in the store (a few days ago already), but not in my downloads list or anywhere else. I'll keep checking this forum for updates and I'll report back if I see (or don't see) any changes.
 
SCEE said they'd look into the Entitlements situation, so hopefully we'll have an answer on that soon.
 
Just wanted to let you know that Big Band is available in Austria PSN. Still no entitlements or any other dlc though.

Update from Belgium:

BigBand is live and free (great)
Squigly isn't on the store at all...
No entitlement for the game yet...

I'll keep you posted if anything changes.

Update from [EU] Portugal: Big Band available for free.

Squigly and Color Pack still there and the only issue I came across at the time was them being priced, which was swiftly repaired.

(Dunno if this is the right place but since there are other status reports on Big Band here...)
 
Yay! Thank you for the updates, everyone!

Now if we can get those entitlements sorted out... And get Squigly up in the 12 countries that don't have her... Once those issues are resolved, I think we'll FINALLY have those countries all caught up! Thanks again for your patience.

Please keep us posted on any other changes/updates as they happen! We wish Sony EU was as openly communicative and helpful as our community.

Quick Finland update

Big Band there and free
No Squigly and Color Pack
No entitlement
 
Trial and unlock showed up as purchased for me! Downloaded and played! Big Band is on the store (free, works), but I don't see Squigly. Quick palette check in training mode showed me 22 palettes for Filia (some of the earlier numbers say 'locked', but I guess they are arcade unlock). Netherlands, btw!

Thinking we're not going to see Squigly and the color packs in the extended EU countries until 5/7, guys.

Sorry about that - pretty sure that was my fault.
