I dont get how you and some people got that.
As far as its saying, the PS Vita & PS4 version are just launching with them in-place.

where did you get this from?

lobbies were originally planned to be coming with the eliza update. it says nowhere that ps4 version is exclusive or is getting lobbies exclusively or even before xbox/ps3. 2014 could still potentially be DEC 31st so i dont know why some peeps think itll be getting stuff first.

And stop jumping to conclusions.

Why would the PS4/Vita getting lobbies mean PS3/360 is no longer getting them? They were planned to be released with Eliza. Art gallery was planned to be released with the final update (Beowulf/RoboFortune).
 
But what about the Xbox one?
 
Now I have to decide if it's worth getting a Vita just for portable Skullgirls...
 
Microsoft's too much trouble to deal with.
Actually that may have been the case a while back but they have opened up many channels to make indie games much easier to publish, though an actual developer and publisher group may be better at answering this question

I'm not buying it until some credible source says so.
Microsoft said Kinect 2 would work this time also.

Sorry if this has already been answered somewhere but will the PC version be getting any of the new features at the same time? Sorry im just a little confused XD also I wish I had a PS vita now
 
Just thought I'd say I know I'll have to download the new characters separately on the PC XD

I only have one question. How will some of the inputs work on the Vita? It doesn't have L2 and R2 buttons, does it? (If it does, I'm gonna look like such a moron)
I don't see a problem?
 
Well, how would doing HK work without the button? And calling your 2nd assist as well....
I play with my HK set on l1 so I don't see any particular problems.
But I wouldn't know about assists since I mostly play solo. I guess you could just use the 2nd joystick though? That's what I do anyway.
 
It has 6 buttons + right stick. Right stick assists just like pad players. There you go.

Personally, I'd use Square/Triangle/L as Punches, Cross/Circle/R as Kicks, Right Stick Assists.

It doesn't look like it would be horribly problematic, right stick assists are present in the current versions of the game and I never had that happen when I played on pad. The stick looks pretty far from the buttons on the Vita.

I'd say you're more likely to accidentally call assists or do supers by mashing buttons close to each other long before you accidentally bumped the right stick for assist. Also, you can do that. LK+MP, LP+MK, etc, for assists.

That sounds reasonable. Now, the only problem (If you could even call it that) is getting used to the SG setup on other consoles after playing like that for a while.

My palm covers the right stick when playing. My palm moves a lot when I try to be more than a punching bag. That's my problem. :(

I moved from a 360 pad setup that was similar to an 8 button arcade stick with LP MP HP PP LK MK HK KK layout across two rows (yes, I don't use assist macros on stick), I do okay on pad but I'm definitely more adjusted to stick.
That's just the woes of moving from one input device to another. I'm willing to adjust to playing on 'pad' (Vita) and stick (PC) back and forth for the luxury of mobile Skullgirls. I'll probably be crap on Vita but that's okay with me.

(Now I need to ask if setting macros on right stick will ever happen, of course disabling trigger/extra button macros in the process or limiting them to assist call functionality. But if I played on Vita, I'd appreciate right stick assists, but I'd be curious about right stick up == pp, right stick down == kk, and calling assists by hitting buttons on my own like I do on stick. Just because I appreciate pp/kk macros a lot. Tapping up to dash with Parasoul on the right stick sounds interesting and hilarious. This is not a serious feature request.)

I guess don't use right stick assists and press LPMK/LKMP/MKHP/MPHK for assists then?

The new indie games thing with MS is the dev needs a good track record or they need to be a super popular game coming like Hyper Light Drifter.

Besides that Sony might be the reason why this is happening at all. Would MS do the same?

Don't forget there's also a touch screen on the back of the Vita. SFxT lets you map things to different parts of it so maybe Skullgirls might do the same thing?

The only thing i could see mapping back there would be assist macros.
 
When are they gonna bring the gllery to ps3
 
Hmm... will the PS4 version be set up with that HD munge for the character sprites? Here's hoping the PC version can get that, yet!
Oh, and I hope that LZ get money for the sales, hopefully. Maybe? Please?
