Audio Skullgirls Fan Voice Acting Thread!

So... LockJaws gave me an updated list of all the VA's in the game:
they are
KuyaLaw (Waiting) as Samson, PaulinetheBloody as Filia, kuroyumeneko as Bloody Marie, Topazius as Squigly, and FunkyHellboy as Leviathan
 
So I wanted to audition again for another character that looks/ might sound somewhere around my age range. I believe I can play this character, as well as Samson for the project.

This is my audition for Leduc (I didn't use the robot voice in the original so that you guys can here unedited.) :

I pretty much got it all from this guy, check him out! He did it much better than me in my opinion. He did all of it. I just tried to interpret his story of Leduc to my performance. (I altered/ added some dialogue and the music too to get my own thing out there. :P ) :

Thanks! Yeah, like i said in the description, it sounded pretty awkward since there was someone else in the house with me.

I think someone should do umbrella attacking and pre round introductions

Yea I don't why I like this but a sliver voice (or maybe a bit deeper is what I like a lot)

But your's is really nice! I might edit it for you and see if I can't add a little robo in there

Awesome performance, thanks, Kuya! You got his voice down perfectly! Also, DAT LAUGH

With this, I'm now only waiting on the Squigly vocals, and as soon as I get those, I'll put up a vid of the full voice acted scene. I gotta say, even now it's BEYOND cool to hear these characters actually talk, so thank you again to all my VAs!
 
Just out of curiosity but if this project will also have music from other jazz related songs, because Skullgirls is a Noir themed game, besides the Skullgirls OST playing. Then may I ask can there be classical jazz songs in the background or during specific scenes. Sorry, if I this may come off ignorant or something I should already know. >///<

I just heard a few songs from the movie, Whiplash, and I would like if some songs were to be used, than the Skullgirls OST.

they do sound alike but I like the Eliza one, I think overall they need to be deeper and faster, pasted.
I tried editing your Violet one tell me how you like it.

Um which project? This is a fan va thread. Through I, the leader of SSgRPG and a big influence on Skulldate run it, and one of if not the biggest contributor to Skulldate also frequents the thread.
I would suggest asking on the thread you need to ask it for.

Hey guys, Spring break is almost here!

This gives me the opportunity, (Unless other matters come to interfere. IDK), to voice act more lines and maybe even entire scripts! (Voice Acting is starting to become my "life-force" right now :P) I would love to act out more of "Skulldate" or "Super Skullgirls RPG". Ever since seeing FunkyHellboy's playthrough and getting to hear people's voices in that scene. I was just "Tickled-Pink" throughout. I'll try to act out all of the lines and I will have different takes on the lines for diversity.

FunkyHellboy mentioned that Samson's pitch was too deep (Like Venom from Spiderman ^o^) , but I could raise his pitch just a bit more and I was wondering if anyone would approve. I need constructive criticism for me to get better and I was hoping that you guys could give me some.
I also would like to say that I would like to voice in anything that might be available and that I might need some pointers.

I know he said it was still "good". However, "good" could be "better".

I am the kind of person to who would like things to be as good as they can be, if not better, or when a certain limit is reached. I would love to improve myself and find a way to satisfy most audiences.

I also know that Skullgirl RPG is still in production and I might do another Leduc take, sounding a little more.. "Shounen- protagonist-y" (Or have a Silver/ Sonic voice to him :P)
I hope I get to continue voicing stuff in this project and more to come. ^///o///^

I have a pretty young voice and can mostly only voice girls in their teens. I don't have my microphone with me right now but i can try some lines and post them!

i tried out filia, i don't have anything right now except my webcam microphone and im not really suited for filia but heres my attempt!

Would you like to Skype some time, recording the lines? I would love to get the VA's to voice act and critique each other to make the voice acting more efficient.

Don't take this wrong way, but you sound so...bored. Take the "You Won't Stop My Wish" my line. You read it like "Oh, whatever", but the Marie has a bit of emotion, a bit of power, confidence in her power and perhaps a spinkling of thinking herself above you. Here, it sounds like you were bored or just overlly monotone. You go the sound right, but not te feeling.
