You read it like "Oh, whatever", but the Marie has a bit of emotion, a bit of power, confidence in her power and perhaps a spinkling of thinking herself above you. Here, it sounds like you were bored or just overlly monotone. You go the sound right, but not te feeling.
This uh isn't me, I quoted the person who did the takes, I just added some effects like echoes and reeverbs so it kinda sounds like her in game.

Oh, my bad. well my criticisms still stand to the VA attempt. Sorry for the confusion, it's late :P

HOWEVAH!!

I'm planning on starting VA skype calls for those who are are interested in voice acting, not only for Skullgirls! (Although I am dying to do more =^= ), but also for other VA projects and other amateur VA stuff that I may have for you VA's! We can help each other with VA stuff to improve our performances or just chat.

However you need to follow these requirements:

  • Know how to send files (obviously =w= )
  • Have some knowledge about editing.
  • Be sure you have a microphone with some decent quality
  • Audacity or any other recording program for VA work.
  • Be willing to VA for projects and be into voice acting.
  • Have some experience with acting of any kind or just know how to act if it's your first time.
  • Be willing to accept criticism, be it constructive or otherwise.
  • Be respectful of others and know when to be professional when the time calls for it. (This is a No-brainer)

Just send me a message if your willing to VA and I may give you a call on skype. ;3

With the announcement the Story Modes will be voiced, i sincerely hope they will be accepting auditions from not-famous VA's, because i really want to get a part, as unlikely as it may be.

The recordings are almost definitely done by now, just fyi.

I met Cristina during my session (as she's the director), and she actually did record Cerebella's few short lines in Beowulf's story mode. Past that, though, this game is recorded anime style (everyone comes in at different times), so the only other VA I met was Mike :P

I have access to the casting info, but it's not like I really know or hope for anybody in particular, so I'm not too concerned. I'll hear it when I hear it :)

Whoa, I've been in the twlight zone or something, I didn't hear about voiced story mode, that's soo awesome! I seriously am dying to hear who does Brain Drain. Phyre can you give any cryptic hints about him? Don't expect a direct answer heh, but I'm really curious if they went with a Russian accent.

Well, first off, I'm not familiar enough with the anime vo scene to know how to give cryptic hints about people, and second, I haven't actually heard them, so I've honestly no idea what they sound like. No hints this time :P
