So you're saying that if I took the time to run it, I could run it my way?
That's always been the case!
So how long will a Wichita style battle take with a team this size? I do have to be up a little earlier than I'd prefer for work the next morning so I don't know if I can commit to the amount of time this might take.
I'm guessing around two hours. I can't see this lasting any longer than any of the kumites (which usually last 3 hours).

Anyone been able to get a handle on Action Hank?

Yes. I think you should be able to. That's exactly what I'm saying.

@KhaosMuffins I'll try to get ahold of @Action Hank (2) today for you. Let him know what's going on!

Thinking of finalizing teams tonight so if you want in on this or want someone else to get in on this then say so now.

Did the stream get decided? If you wanna do it on the Eighty Sixed channel again, I'm more than happy to open it up for the "new school" players tournament. It would be good exposure for them on a big stream

To be honest I kinda wanna do this on Hitbox since it'd make things a bit easier, but Eighty Sixed WOULD get the maximum number of viewers though so... that's probably the better choice.

Question for you guys on the format. It seems I misunderstood how Waseda worked in that I was thinking something like:
A1-5 face off against B1-5; A1-3 win and B4-5 win; A1 vs B4, A2 vs B5, A3 waits and plays if one of the B team members win.
If my math is correct then the potential maximum number of matches should be around 57 if it's 10v10... but math is hard and I may be waaaaaaay off here (someone check for me). That's less than a kumite's potential amount of matches, though (120 if it's FT7, 8 opponents). A person can still take out an entire team on their own, but that would mean that the rest of his team members lost, and I'm ok with that.

Apparently Waseda is typically done with teams of 2 people. So instead of something more like a crew battle, it'd be more like a small team tournament. It'd still be 2/3, single elimination.

Which do you guys prefer?

2v2 team tournament or just do a straight bracket and stream all the matches.

Eighty Sixed has a hitbox account, I'm just not familiar if you can give stream key out like twitch

You can. Just check your settings to get the stream key and it's done exactly the same way.

We'll just do it Waseda style like I mentioned. Form your teams however you wish otherwise I'll just randomize everything. Take connection qualities into account because it'd suck to see a team winning because half of their members have bad connections with everyone. We're at 21 right now so unless someone else joins/says they can't play, someone is gonna have to sit out. Form two teams of ten.

Also, everyone participating should add me on Steam since we're gonna have to use Steam chat to organize this and tell people who plays when (unless everyone has a Skype which would be extremely convenient). Name is KhaosMuffins on both.

If someone wants to help me organize the brackets and stuff then let me know, please. That would be very much appreciated.

I'll sit out to even things up and also because I might not be able to make the time commitment anyway.

Is the list capped already? Also, is it too late to join in the fun?

Interesting idea for a tournament great to see more people try and make more interesting streams then repeating matches already seen and calling it "New and Hype!" when you know who is going to win.

It's not too late, but if POS is sitting out then we're at an odd number again. I'll add you if someone else is willing to join in.

Well my timeoff request was denied, nobody's picking up my shift, and my parts are here. If I don't get my old drive cloned then I can probably borrow a friend's computer or play on @FuLLBLeeD 's computer failing that. Put me on there.

Edit: I'll be the second representative of KC. I'd suggest a South America + West Coast vs. everyone else. Have the old Spanish Empire vs the old British and French..or roughly that.

I'll enter if that's okay.

I'm here to make the dekillschool look bad.

Does baby Seth Rogan really teach people how to play and calls it a school?

How dare you insult my Dekillsensei!

yes he does. there's a thread somewhere for it.

I'm going to fucking body all of you.

..is what I WOULD say if I didn't have to work during this. Hope you guys have fun and some new faces get exposure. <3

I'm in to join this sounds like fun.

Alright, we're capped at 24 now. Get together in teams however you want. Draft pick with two captains, by region, by team ratios, by the type of shampoo you use, etc.

That'd be easy but that'd be coast-to-coast connections every match. I can do that if you guys are ok with it. If so, lemme know, otherwise do y'alls thing and pair up.

@KhaosMuffins I'm in the process of seeing if Bit Strife or Clawmaster want to team with me. I'll get back to you pretty soon just as soon as I hear back.

I'm from the East Coast by the way.

Are we doing two big teams or multiple small teams?

Please stream it on hitbox if possible. I understand that it's not as popular a website, but the lack of stream delay and bandwidth throttling makes it infinitely more enjoyable for the viewers over twitch.

I wanna base it off of hats. Team paper boy hats vs fedoras.

@KhaosMuffins I confirmed that I will be teaming with Clawmaster, if you can arrange that. He suggested Team Big Booties so lets go with that.

but we had more people than midwest...
