Sotherius' training thread. Reloaded

Short version, there is no decent internet available in this city i'm in. So i honestly don't know how i'm going to deal with my love for fighting games, since there is no scene here whatsoever or people that i could get into it to play with me.
Shit man, that's too unfortunate.
You sure you can't cobble together some kind of scene?

I can't. D=

Well, i've been thinking here...

I think i'm just going to improve on the execution aspect of the fighting games i play, and maybe some theory fighter, i don't know how much time i'll live here, maybe months, years, and i don't know how much time it will take for this city to have some kind of connection that fits for fighting games online (maybe i have an option already, but i doubt, since almost every source of connection here is wireless, and the common adsl internet here is not available).

But i don't know, maybe i'll get good to the point of making combo video material or some stuff like that. I just hope that fighting games had some fun A.I. to fight against.

In Skullgirls, well, i don't think character crysis matters at this point, i'm just going to learn bnbs, resets, and mechanics, and i'll be creative with that.

Ok, time to resurrect this thread. I guess.

A lot of time has passed since i was on this forum, but in general, i have a connection that can serve me to play fighting games, and since Skullgirls uses GGPO, i'll be fine to play this game.

The truth is, that i have been not excited to play this game that much, I lived in a character crysis, and seeing how every tournament had less and less solo players showing up and placing well was making me lose all the motivation. But i decided to give the game another shot, i guess, restart from scratch, and even if solos suck, i'm not getting anywhere, so i should just play for fun really.

I think i'm going to start learning Valentine, she is the only character with an izuna drop in the game, so i might as well start there.

I'm going to see some BnB's and post progress here. see ya everyone.
