Squigly Combo Tutorial

I absolutely love the time you put into editing this video as well as the musical choice. Though, most of these I was aware of, I do appreciate all the details you pointed out with her Normals as well as Damage priority (Cuz in the end, it comes down to the best filler BnB rather than Flashy combos here and there.) There is one thing I tend to fault with Squigly, is actually hit confriming or causing reversals with her normals which I find extremely annoying to attempt online since it appears almost any attack I attempt gets mashed out/punished. What do you recommend is a good tactic for hit confirming or beating out close pressure?

I would say a c.LK,
It's one of squigly's faster attacks and does quick low damage so if the enemy you're fighting isn't a mind reader, they won't see it coming. n_n
Squigly as a whole doesn't have a lot of safe reversal options so, if you're in the corner and not against peacock, push block whenever you can to get some space to work with. n_n

Ah I see thanks. The live of a Solo Squigly is a hard one :(

If you have a punch charge, draugn punch xx SBO is safe-ish. I think you're -4, so only a handful of things can punish.

The information was pretty good, the music was good, the editing and pacing and even the font colors are nice/cute.
I was very surprised! So like, 9/10 for those parts.

The spelling was atrocious and completely ruined it for me. "Squiglies playstyal"? Seriously? "Feeding around the bush"?
It's like you finally got the production all together and it came time to lay out the text and you just wanted to get it done so you did it in one go and that was that. I know that feeling, but that extra polish what sets good videos apart from okay ones. I'm sad even calling correct spelling "extra polish" because I feel like it's "basic editing" myself.
As a video maker, I question spending so much time on something like this and not putting that little bit of effort into making sure it was written well instead of being...embarrassing. :^|

Thanks and I'm sorry to hear that :(
I knew I made some type of spelling error in there since I've had a long history of small spelling errors I usually don't pick up on until it's too late but, I didn't think someone (let a long Mike Z himself) would get this bothered over it.
Still, Thanks for the criticism and being honest n_n and you could understand there's nothing I can do about it at this point. It would require me to completely redo the whole video and I would rather be criticised for my bad spelling then do that again :P

Yeah, I wouldn't redo it either, it was more passing along some advice for future projects. If you are going to spend a long time creating something of that complexity it is more than worth the effort to find someone you trust who can read and nitpick, and make them read it and nitpick. Otherwise it's just wrong forever. I learned this myself!

let a long
Right. This is why I said what I said. :^)

It doesn't matter who I am, btw. If this had come from NewMeister27, it would be just as relevant.

Haha, I guess that is a great way to proofread n_n
When you try to proofread your own work, there's a greater chance of you missing something because, you already know what you wanted to say. (Really hope that makes sense)

Anyways,
about my grammar (or my lack of it) I've really have been work on it, trying to teach myself not to make such mistakes like that so I don't end up hating myself later for making it. Looks like I have my ways to go before I stop doing them all together :P (I only made one in the last post after a few edits n_n)

Lately,
I guess it doesn't matter if you mike-Z or anything, I would of more or less had the same reaction.
Thanking the person for their honesty towards my video and wishing them an awesome day (another thing I forgot to add :P)

Come to think about it, it's really not all that different n_n

Although there are some other combo guides out there on the net, this one provided a fun little tune to it. Loved your music choices, how you slowed down the combos (useful for picking out certain combo timings), and just your overall combo paths. Never hurts to pick up some new combos here and there, so I'll without a doubt be looking into adding some of these to my knowledge base. Cheers
