Have you ever noticed that some characters get classed a certain way in fgs?
For example; Indian characters always appear to be slow, heavy hitting grapplers
(T.hawk, Night wolf,Thunder)
Magical spell casts seem to always be keep away Zoners (Rose, Raven, Trish, Dormammu, Viola)
Animal related characters always seem to be rush down (wolverine, Catwoman, sabre wolf, vammy kinda haha)

Have you guys have any other stereotypes for character or which you prefer?

main characters that are vastly overshadowed by several other playables (every fighting game ever)

Nurses are always healers... wait a sec...

I personally like the zoning magic-user archetype: it fits the even more common trope of "Squishy Wizard" where the character's magic is very powerful, but they do not take hits well, and Fighting Game magic-users are generally built to try to avoid taking hits by completely overwhelming the opponent with projectiles.

I tend to favor rush-down characters, but I also like to try the others from time to time.

boxers through and through is a fg stereotype I can't get enough of

You mean Native American?

Because Dhalsim is Indian.
