EDIT: MOVED FROM THE REBEL UP THREAD.

Just a heads up that only monthlies and one-off events are supposed to appear in the events on the forum index. Because this is a new event I'll leave it up for now, but after the first one I'll remove it (this thread will still be here).

Apologies.

Okay, for future reference, where should tournaments and gatherings that are biweekly/fortnightly be posted as a reminder for players on the Skullheart forum? This is the right section though, right? I just would like regular posted announcements because this is going to (hopefully) be a regular thing like Salty and appear on alternating weeks. So like Salty, I'd like for players that wish to attend or tune in to the stream know where to go.

Thanks.

This section is the correct one for all events, it's just that creating an 'event' as opposed to an ordinary thread is not ideal for the more regular tournaments simply because they all show up on the forum index and it gets too cluttered (and so events get lost in all the listings).

I agree that having streamed weeklies, etc. on there would be nice, but it would probably mean that we'd have to reduce the scope of the block on the front page. Currently it lists all of the events happening within the next month, so if we were to include streamed locals we'd probably have to reduce it to 2 weeks during the tournament season. I'm cool with this, but is only finding out about a tournament 2 weeks in advance a little short-notice for some people?

@worldjem @keninblack keen to hear your thoughts on this as well.

(Once this is sorted I'll move these posts to another thread)

Wouldn't let you download it? Or wouldn't let you extract it after you downloaded it? The latter is a problem we're aware of and trying to get fixed, but this is the first we've heard of the former.
