I am equally floored and somewhat interested in this fever dream of a fighting game.
 
I love how he introduces the unblockable like an infomercial asking if you're tired of opponents who just keep blocking all the time, and this is finally the solution all these other fighting games were sorely lacking. They look damn fast, so I guess you don't even need throws when you have this.

Likewise for the get-out-of-corner-free-card, where he even uses the c-word to talk about people applying corner pressure. And at no point does he ever mention where he puts the risk in risk/reward, so I'm just going to assume it's safe until told otherwise.

I think I remember this guy from back when I was into MUGEN.

Needless to say, he does not take criticism well.

Mugen exposed? what kind of video series is that? I mean Mugen and games made by Mugen are pretty exposed out there... it's either balls out crazy or it's something like Hyber Dragon Ball Z [oh yeah how is that project going anyways... i see like 5 different version of the game floating around the internet and i can't tell which one is the official one or not. ]

The hitboxes seem to be an extremely valid complaint.
 
this is the perfect level of kusoge. I would honestly be disappointed if it didn't play like shit.
 
^^^He did. He's been making Mugen stuff for years now. Problem is, he not only never uses his head, but responds terribly to criticism.
 
The game COULD be amazing if it in the right hands. It definitely could play up its chaotic factor. I'm imagining a more refined version of its fighting system with four player duking it out at once.

huh... Four player fighter... possible chaotic factor... hmmmm reminds me of a game that's being made right now... Heck the dev team likes to think they are the rebellious kid brother to SG. maybe maybe there just might be a hole for them to fill.

But 4 player for SF Perfect? nah i think it's a little too nuts to have 4 people running around trying to smack each other. Heck the standard 1v1 play of this game looks to be too much for me.
 
I didn't realize that Cerebrawl was four players.

yup it's planned to be 2v2. as well as 1v1. That's why elements of Tekken Tag Team is being placed in. Also they're debating on putting in launching Tags sorta like in SFxT. maybe... they're still working on Helen and the juggles right now so things are still up in the air. [also they're streaming right now...]

Yeah I'd like that. I'd like a lot more Smash Bros style stuff in general. That little sub-genre is kind of an untapped treasure trove IMO.
