PC Stuck in loading screen

    Title says it all. When I boot the game, it runs fine for 1-2 seconds, then it's stuck until Windows opts me to close it by force. The thing is, both Skullgirls and Skullgirls ∞Endless Beta∞ suffer from this. Any solutions? I don't think this would help at all but:
    Windows 10 Home Edition
    64-bit
    Intel Core i7 5500U CPU@2.40 GHz
    Nvidia Geforce 820M

    Yes, this is just recently happening to me. I was able to play both Skullgirls and Skullgirls ∞Endless Beta∞ without any abnormality.

    I though this might be because of Xbox DVR, disabled it and it still does it.

    yeah, okay. I was talking to someone who also is going thru the same problem where the game used to work but then recently would crash just as it's going thru the first loading screen.

    this is pretty weird...
