could be a recovery item that heals Skull Points instead of Hit Points, but I'm trying to think of what the actual ITEM could be...
Drinks will heal Skull Power (The mana for the game) Milkshakes, Root beer, etc...
Food will heal HP
I might have something give meter but'll have to see how that will occur.

I found a minor weird thing: After talking to the gave me the protein shake or something I saw this Leviathan sprite:

Yea the demo is um, wrongly done, and the Lev face sprite is just....not well done.

I am going to be putting up a pre-stream fixed version of the demo and while I stream you guys can play it and tell me what needs fixin!
 
Lev is purple and Milk(Chan) Shakes are confirmed!

So for anyone who wasn't in the stream tonight the big update was adding in New Meridian
into the game 100x100 tiles
it is HUGE!

However, like LockjawsSaga said, the only equipment available for Squigly is weapons and no armour. I also find it kind of odd that Fortune uses Filia's weapons but that's just a minor nitpick.

I opened the demo to give it a look, but it gives me a load of files that I don't know what to do with. How do I combine them into an actual functioning demo?

Wait did you download the .rar file?
if so just go into the extracted folder and click Game.exe

Does it not work on certain platforms? I'm doing this from a Mac and nothing happens whatsoever.

No, sadly it does not work on mac,
Only way would be using Parallels, VMWare or setting up a Boot Camp partition with a Windows installation

On the flipside, I guess we just found something you could look at adding functionally in the long term!
 
Ok just my wondering but why is Ms.Fortune's sprite so tall? Her sprite is about 1/3 taller than the other two.

I have no idea the person who made it must have modeled it onto another model.

After a whole bunch of referencing, drawing, and electro swing Big Band has joined the sprite world. Also big thanks to @powell1112 for helping me get the sizes to fit correctly in RPG character maker.

Don't forget we have to work on Skulldate, Mc.Rad. Helping out with SSgRPG in any way is great, but we still have priorities.
