This is probably a minor thing, but I was curious about the general Tournament rules regarding switching Team orders. It happened during the Grand Finals of the last Maxout in Missouri where when the loser of a round switched Team Order + Assists, the winner kept the same team composition but used the Start of round Team Switch mechanic (holding a Tag combination to switch the order of your team before a new round) and switched order. While I'm not particularly bothered by it myself, I did start thinking that team order especially at round start is very important, and I never see any rules in Marvel or in SG here about changing/keeping order despite order mattering a lot, so I just wanted to check with everyone to make sure this is something we are all okay with.

I don't know what Marvel 3 or Marvel 2 did in these situations, cause its really rare to see the winner change order, so I don't actually know what they do or what they accept there. But if anyone had any insight, that'd be helpful.

As the guy who changed order, it's always been allowed at Maxout, though I think I'm the only one to use it. As far as I'm aware, it was always allowed in MvC2 also, though team orders were so finely tuned that no one ever used it.

I switched team orders at evo once after a win. The guy used solo and killed my first 2 characters damn near perfect, but he didn't have an answer for doubles jhp so I beat him with it and not wanting a repeat of the first round I changed team structure to put double first and handily perfected him.

I say keep it, it adds mindgames at the very least to team metas.

In MvC2, the winner switching team order during loading screen was fine, but they must keep the same characters and assists.

I guess the debate could be on if switching 2nd-anchor order should be allowed, since you can't do that during the loading screen.

If it's allowed in Marvel I think it should be ok here.
