Doesn't anyone think this is a nice idea?
 
We think its a good idea sure, but from what I interpret this is impossible to be implemented at this stage of the games life.
Eliza had all her costumes made while she was being created.
 
Not for the game, for visual art fun.

Reading the OP and subforum like a boss!

Sounds fun to me! You could kick the thread off by providing a base or something to get people interested.

Well the base was made by Cellsai who works with lab zero but he made the base and not lab zero. I also believe that the contest was made by Cellsai who got lab zero to judge the pieces for a winner and Cellsai provided all the prizes. (until lab zero decided to put one of the entrants in) So Cellsai did lots of the work on his own and got Lab Zero to judge it.

So uh, make your own base is what I'm saying. Or get someone else to do it I dunno.

EDIT: Also maybe title your thread better? The current title makes me think "Oh costume dlc that's something lab zero isn't going to do because money so I'll just ignore this thread."

whoopsie me, I feel like a huge scrub now, I'll go and sit in the corner and never post again. See you guys some other day.

Threads being another word for clothing, and thus a play on words on the other definition of "thread."

I wanted to give Parasoul some armor. But what kind? Her fencing fighting style led to Undead Prince Ricard, an infamous fencer with a unique weapon named for him (Ricard's Rapier). Prince Ricard is one of the couple of characters that wear the Elite Knight Set, so now Parasoul gets to wear it.

And now, an alternate costume done by a pro, Alex Ahad:

Attention cyborgs, this is NSFW not really! because it is Big Band without any clothes:

I used his character sheet as reference for his bare brass. I think the tubing around his neck is a breathing apparatus he needs to live so I kept it there. The false turtleneck sweater front (or "dickey" to use the garment term) stayed because Ben needs to stay warm where skin meets metal.

And here's another pose for Squigly with and without hair in case of changing hairstyles:

I don't think he needs it to live, in the story mode he takes it off frequently to talk.

Slight correction: I don't work for LZ. I did some very small animation work on the IGG NPCs is all. The contest part is true though: I ran the contest and supplied all the assets and prizes then LZ were nice enough to judge it for us :)

First one is just a generic lounge singer to show a general costume idea and the second is Nefer-Tina from Mummies Alive! to show that costumes based on other costumes were allowed.
