Since I made a thread for E3 before the purge, might as well make one for TGS!
Lots of games tend to get announced or get news for them for this, the last big gaming convention of the year.
Let's hope we get some great reveals this year!
They've already revealed a 3D Remake of Final Fantasy IV: The After Years for Android, Final Fantasy Theatrhyhm: Curtain Call, Earth Defense Force 2025, and a bunch of other things.
It's only recently just begun, so might as well make the thread now!

Anyway, that video was released this week along with a second one just to give a glimpse at gameplay changes and a peek at the new characters.


Not exactly TGS-y but: JoJo ASB and OP: Romance Dawn are both coming to the West.
I wonder how they sorted the JoJo licensing issues?

Sega released a 12 minute long, seven song digest video for Hatsune Miku Project Diva F 2nd at the Tokyo Game Show.

The rhythm game, due out for PlayStation 3 and PS Vita in Japan next year, is a sequel to Hatsune Miku Project Diva F, which saw a western release in August. Songs highlighted in the video include “Romeo to Cinderella,” “Colorful x Melody,” “Akatsuki Arrival,” and “Kochira, Koufuku Anshin Iinkai Desu.”

Best part of that is that it's for iOS, not 3DS, despite After Years using almost 95% recycled resources from the DS game. :P

...Honestly, I think I'm in a minority on this, but I'm getting sort of annoyed the more they show more Kokonoe pics in CP.

She looks awesome, don't get me wrong, but they're really highlighting that she's essentially finished already months in advance of the game's release. We have screencaps of her normals, dashing, specials, Distortions, and even her Overdrive. She's finished. This is basically Capcom-level on-disc DLC they're pulling even after Mori claimed it wouldn't have any DLC at all.

But I remain salty at Aksys in general when it comes to DLC. They burned me really badly on CS when I paid for Makoto and Valk out of brand loyalty and then they withheld Platinum (who I wanted to main) for over a year to shill Extend on Vita with (and then tried to ask for full price when they waited so long no one was still playing CS2 when she did come out). Ended up never buying her when she did finally come out, so CP would be my first time.

I'm sticking to my guns and never giving them a DLC dime again, since it bugs me, is all.

Well, originally, they were actually still working on Makoto, Valk, and Platinum was my understanding. Valk even had an extra delay since he wasn't ready yet I dimly recall. I didn't mind paying for characters they genuinely hadn't finished yet before release. Platinum though they just withheld for ages long after completion so the arcade and Vita versions had an exclusive to hang their hat on.

This seems like something different because she and Terumi are genuinely finished well in advance and they're even beating you over the head with proof, lol.

I'm more sympathetic now about the endless CS2 patch wait than I was then, since Skullgirls taught me how much patching actually costs, but... Yeah, Aksys DLC doesn't get my money ever again, lol. They're only a slight step above Capcom when it comes to being slimy about that. (To say nothing of Continuum Shift: Nothing New but Relius Edition).

Aside from Square's bizarre choices, TGS is looking pretty awesome, yeah. Pretty hype that they copyrighted the names for two Bravely Default sequels too. :)

New Killer Instinct Trailer. This trailer is actually pretty cool, but to bad I'm not buying an Xbox One.......yet.
 
They threw Orchid in mainly cause they needed a female rep from it and to add more diversity to the game since there was only one new female character. Fulgore will be in the first launch when the season 2 pass begins. I just want Cinder and I'm happy.
