Alright, since tomorrow is the Spike VGA (Or VGX) as they call it is tomorrow (Spike TV, 6 PM EST!), I decided I'd make a thread about it.
This may seem kind of silly, huh? Making a thread for a one time event. What makes VGX so special?
Well, every year at the VGAs, they show video game trailers. Be it something new, a reveal, or something already out. It's fun to wait and guess what'll be show, and be talked about.
Games like The Last of Us, and Phantom Pain debuted at the Video Game Awards.
So, when it hits, talk about the VGX awards in here...
Or, more likely, talk about the trailers!

Also, if you don't have cable, The VGX will be streamed on certain sites, like Game Trailers and I think Steam.
 
It's pretty much that.
Nintendo confirmed they have something big planned for VGX.
And apparently, VGX has "Ditched' it's Hollywood Roots, and has more Video Game Trailers than ever
 
Just a reminder, that Spike TV's VGX awards won't be aired live at all.
It'll all be LIVE STREAMED!
So if you wanna watch, go to Twitch, Gametrailers, or Steam!

Well, 3 things have already been leaked. Putting them under spoilers for obvious reasons.

Telltale's making a Game of Thrones/A Song of Ice and Fire game.

The latest Tomb Raider's getting an Xbone/PS4 port. Personally, I think it'll bomb.

The guys that made Joe Danger are making a new game called No Man's Sky.

So far, kinda ok.
I mean, The Borderlands thing is great.
But the Tomb Raider rerelease was lame.
Though Cranky Kong reveal is pretty awesome.
Quantum Break looks alright, though.
Definitely made up for it's lame intro back in May.

Crap, they aired while I was at work. I'm guessing I didn't miss much though.
 
Wait, what involving Borderlands?
 
I at least think they've got good taste in fighters. considering what won best fighter last year!~

Well this was lame.
I kinda regret making this thread.
All the world reveals were stuff we already knew about, and the brand new one I was excited about was just Game of Thrones.
WHICH WE ALREADY KNEW ABOUT.
No Smash.

Aside from that surprise Borderlands announcement everything else about the VGX was awful.
 
Only one thing really pissed me off about VGX.
You wanna know what it was?
Gone Home winning INdie Game of the Year.
Uh.
What.
No.
Silly that goes to Stanley Parable.

I don't understand Gone Home at all. At first it's atmospheric and you think it's gonna be horror and the tension apparently mounts...
Then, nope.
It's just a story about lesbians.
Thrilling.
