MERCY IS MY BAE

I played a bit, enough to get to level 5, I got some boneheaded teammates but I honestly cannot use that argument since this is probably the first time anyone's played it (And it might even be some people's first FPS Multiplayer).
I like Zenyatta's feel, and I got a few good skins

okay, for anybody that has pre-ordered it on consoles (specifically PSN), has it charged you yet?

Man, killing people and reviving teammates with Mercy feels so good

Bastion has a ton of counters; it's a matter of positioning/flanking and not walking right down his cone of vision.

I've finally gained the ability to play this game through the immortal kindness of a friend of mine.

I'm enjoying the game quite a bit. I gotta say though, Mcree feels squishy as hell with 200hp and no armor. Despite his ability to melt people up close I feel like he's pretty weak right now unless you're super nice, and even then with his pretty slow movement and long cooldown on the roll I feel like it's pretty hard to get in a good position.

I'm having fun but I'm going to try and find who it is that really fits me without failing my finals in the process. Great timing blizzard ur doin it.

Been play alot of D.Va, love the mobility and utility with the projectile shield she brings. She's like the best anti Torbjorn just because you can fly right next to his turrets and take them out like it was nothing and even if you 'die' in the process you can still take Torbjorn with your pistol somewhat easily. Not only that but it's really fun to pin people in corners, fling them of ledges, and bowl them over with an ejected mech.

Also I got the Devil skin for Mercy and Bedjouin for Genji in my first five crates.

I've been getting nothing but shit, the only good loot I've gotten is an Amber Skin for Mercy
Does your level and unlocks carry over to the full game in like 20 days?

Unfortunately for me, no. Meaning my usual crap luck will bite me in the ass when the release comes.

Mercy is so amazing. She is so amazing <3. I got a Junkrat skin that makes him look like a scarecrow. I'm terrible at him. I like playing McCrae and Roadhog.

Winston feels useless in my opinion. His ult is nothing since the enemy team can evade it with no problem by running from him and his leap is just weird since it goes in one direction and not where you aim it at with the cross hair. I've been maining Torbjorn. Dude is fucking really good. Can give allies armor buffs after killing enemies, upgrade his turret for more damage and sustain, and fucking has an ult that buffs his health, armor, and attack speed. This little guy is not one to leave unchecked.

Tbh the only really useless hero to me feels like Zenyatta because how short and useless his heal is, I mean he could do stuff with his ultimate and get tanks but that orb of harmony feels so bleh from that nerf a while back. Unless they changed it I don't have the beta lol

mmmmmh... Zenyatta in my mind is a side medic that his healing isn't what you should be focusing on. Sure throwing a Harmony Orb on Mercy is good and what Zenyatta should be doing is being in the second line of the offence with a Tank, that tossing out a Discord Orb on targets is important so the second line can take care of them before that target gets behind your lines and starts messing with your defense. In my mind he's a back up Mercy and that he's focused on keeping that second line stocked up on heals.

Like.... okay, First Line offense heros would be like Tracer, Pharah, Genji, Heroes that can move fast and have good damage output. Mercy would be behind those Heroes giving them the heals and due to Mercy's mobility she can get out if need be. Second Line offense Heroes would be like Road Hog, Soldier 76, Reaper, McCree. These guys are slower but they have deceptive range to them [Soldier 76 and McCree both have good accuracy at long distances and they can move up into the First Line if Heroes there start dying. Reaper can pop in and out of the First and Second Line thanks to his teleport he also is self sufficient due to his soul reaping. Road Hog is there for easy pickings with his Hook and Shotgun combo.]

So How I would organize the support is how they affect these two lines of offense. Lucio and Mercy are great for First Line thanks to the heals they deal out but also the buffs, Lucio with Speed [Very important in the beginning of a Match and for pushing] and Mercy with her Damage boost.

Second line is there for more passive heals and for people retreating from the First Line. in this Case Zarya can also count as a second line Offense with her giving shields and over time her damage boost so when she does move up to the First Line she's all buffed up and ready to rip thru people.

It's funny I like to think of the placements of heroes sorta like soccer... First Line Offense is like Wings and Center player where as the Second Line is more like the Attacking Midfielders. They can push up close almost behind the forward positions where they can keep pressure and help keep from the ball being overturned. [also all three positions of Forward, Mid, and Defense can bleed into each other, that a Defense player can jump up into the Midfield to help out and vica versa.]

One thing that does worry me is when people play as Rienhardt and they have him right up in the First Line. Really Rienhardt should be an offensive defender helping out in the Second Line helping out pushing them up and taking out special targets that slip by the First Line. If the First Line has to retreat then Rienhardt can pop up his shield as Zenyatta tosses Harmony Orbs on people who need it the most. [and if he has his ult then he can pop it give everyone some quick heals so they can jump back into combat quicker.]

A little tip about Rienhardt's shield when facing one on the enemy team. Symmetria's pulse orb shot, fully charged and released, can go through it and damage him.

Winston's Tesla Cannon works too. It damages him AND The Shield

Welp the flood gates have opened now, and getting chain disconnected ;_;

Really loving this game so much though, ready for it to be released.
Heres my played:

Fuckin' no. Like, way to give me something enjoyable and then just poop right on my good time Blizzard.

(I actually looked it up and there's a possibilty of installing windows onto your computer as a separate system and dual boot then I might be able to play???)

Had a lot of fun last night playing Mercy, Junkrat and Mei. Mercy is so much fun, heal to save heroes, buff to push.

The game's a lot of fun until you get grouped with 5 people who care more about their K/D ratio than completing the objective.
The amount of times we almost won as defense only for 5 people to stop contesting the point/payload during overtime to protect their K/D is infuriating.

My K/D is probably shit but if you're gonna play for the sake of that then go play CoD you fuckin' child
Also, a lot of people are saying that Winston is useless, but he's actually really good if you know what you're doing.
Basically like Zenyatta. Not the typical character to his role because he's surprisingly squishy, but he can make or break protecting the objective depending on how you use him.

I've had a couple of Orchestra concerts in a row, so I haven't had a good chance to play, but it seems really good from the literally three games I played. Is McReedy really good or was I just getting carried?

A good Winston can throw an entire team into chaos by using their leap right.
Unfortunately (Thankfully?) people don't really know how to use him.

Is McReedy really good or was I just getting carried?
I thought we was really good.
He's got good burst and his ult can kill entire teams with no effort.
Most McRee's fail by only using their L2 and getting pummeled from long-range as a result.

Can we please nerf Bastion.

Last night there was a game with four jokers playing Bastion on Defense.
It was as absolutely hellish as it sounds.
Pretty much any game where a Bastion carried gets ranked as a one star and I hope that means Blizzard gets the message that he needs to be nerfed
