Recently Matt and Pat started Yakuza 0 and honestly i love it

 

There's going to be a persona 5 playthrough as well.

Meaning this, P5 and DaS1 (and the final DaS3 DLC) will be setting the schedule of the channel for a LONG time.

Atlus knows there are MANY people like me, and are making sure that nothing gets leaked on story.

For most LPs yeah that'd be a problem, but the Best Friends only ever name the episodes "Part X"
I know Atlus wouldn't make an exception just because of that, but darnit I wanna see a several hundred episode long Persona LP out of the best friends.

You know what, I'm glad this LP got killed, 3 minutes in and I'm going to have an aneurysm from the mass of stupid bullshit that's already come out of Pat's mouth.

He thought red would be too strong a color for a Persona game? When it's already been the color for Persona 2? Persona pre-3 didn't have color schemes? Meguro wasn't a lead composer until Persona 3? Despite Nocturne being three years earlier? Despite Avatar Tuner being earlier? Despite Raidou being earlier? Come on.

Here's the thing, Pat hasn't played the original Persobas, because he's said that he tried the first persona, and long story short, the combat was too archaic for him. I can probably assume that he assumed the combat in Persona 2 would also be the same, even though it's not.

 

well, the Dark Souls 1 LP is over, meaning only Ringed City is left.

It's interesting to know that Woolie is pretty much the Griffith of the real world.
I mean, look at all the bullshit he pulled for the sake of "I'm the hero."

Well, Woolie gave a dog a quick death by burning it alive. Darkened Anor Londo because he thought it would make Gwynevere's boobs jiggle, killed a man because he took away his bonfire then killed someone to take away a bonfire. Killed a man for a ring.

It's more of a running gag about how Woolie became kind of a white knight when Lauren killed his bonfire.

 

griffith had much better reasons for doing everything wrong, like crushing despair and being tortured for a year

woolie's only torture was Pat the Shoulder Devil whispering falsehoods into his ear the entire time, everything else was pure malice

 

why should Woolie have to use a homeward bone to spare a boss he doesn't have to fight because he already has the ring?
Woolie paid for those homeward bones!

Truly Pat's stand is the most powerful.

 

I like that Pat thinks being able to play on a Hitbox automatically means you can play just as well on a stick since it's clearly the exact same skill.

 

saying that he thought it is a pretty generous assumption of Pat's mental strength

 

And here I was thinking my generosity was not interpreting his statement as "Hitboxes are cheating".

 

He was referring to people who go "no, I won't play on this arcade cabinet tournament because I cant plug in my hitbox" because apparently not using the same equipment as everyone else is unfair to that person.

 

So.

The two current Let's Plays, Yakuza 0, and A Night in The Woods, have been pretty good.

Also, their last full LP was Vergil's Downfall, and the last episode of the channel ended with Ursula winning and killing them.

That's the most TBFP ending we could've gotten.

I guess this means that the Skullgirls Launch Party is finally over?

Jokes aside, I've never watched them a ton, but it's still sad to see them go their separate ways.
