I really like Ms fortune shes one of my favorite characters in the game and I really love her design.

Yo I got a querstion for discussion.

Why is fortune such a jerk in the story modes that aren't her own?

In big band's story mode she just shows up and is like "wow I better pick a fight with this good natured saxophone man without provocation cause idk he looks weird."

Its always kinda bothered me cause she seems much nicer in gameplay n stuff but elsewhere she's a fucking meanie.

Ms Fortune hates the Medici so that's why she threatens Big band because she mistakes him for a Medici (heck even some Filia and Samson quotes think he's a Medici) Eliza and Cerebella both were on a job to get the life gem back so Fortune is obviously not going to be friends with them.

I just realized Fortune will live forever like Annie and everyone she knows and loves will die, then she'll become a hardened super badass like Annie in a few thousand years

I think its a weird contrast to how she reacts to Irwin with whom she is immediately chill with on contact. It could be argued that he looks more like a Medici than most characters as well. Realistically she doesn't attack Irvin cause he isn't a fightable/playable character.

Wait is Ms.Fortune dead? Because she technically got killed super hard but ate a thing called the LIFE gem.

Does this mean Ms.Fortune has eternal youth like Annie or Axl Low?

I also want to talk about the ABSURD amount camel toe she has in story and how it should turned down slightly. But that's a conversation for another day.
 
Well, it's not her fault she can't afford enough to eat, yet alone afford enough clothes to cover her body.doesn't explain her intro coat tho

May be a fashion choice rather than lack of clothing. considering the design choices of Yu-wan Minette and other people in little Innsmouth doesn't really seem that out of place.
 
because pants restrict your movement. Look at beowulf he wears pants and he hops around.

Also you're questioning clothing choices in a game where everyone has clothing not exactly suited for fighting.

According to the Canon info thread she was found as a stray by the Fishbone gang so they adopted her and raised her while teaching her how to steal and fight. This is why she want's to resurrect them because she views them as family.

She was raised in the same alley as Top Cat and his gang.

She learned how to fight people via scratching post and using tendons has string to strangle.
 
She uh wasn't cut up yet dude. It was fairly recent in the story maybe 2-3 years before. You know when her friends die.

That being said Ms.Fortune is pretty cool. I mean, not KOF levels of cool. But still pretty damn cool.
 
Ok so let's get off the topic of pot smoking please. So on the canon info thread it says she does feel pain when getting hurt so does that mean she when she removes a body part it is extremely painful?
 
She's already cut up and she separates herself all the time so her nervous system has healed in such a way that it's not as painful as when Black Dahlia initially dismembered her.

New injuries, like a big old fist to the face, probably still hurt like hell.
