Toonami Thread

I'm ready for durarara season 2 to come to toonami

Akame Ga Kill has like 6 episodes left so we'll probably get our next new Anime soon.
Can't wait for this shitshow to end Goddamn.
I heard the manga is slightly better so I might give that a chance later.

I am kinda excited to see what new anime or cartoon we get next, because we have no idea when Samurai Jack is hitting.

I hope, its a gundam show that gets added.
especially considering Iron Blooded Orphans is getting a dub

We'll have to see, both Hulu and Netflix are basically jockeying to get rights to show Anime before Toonami.
They actually consider Toonami a credible threat to their ratings.

Jojojojojojojojo
They tried getting JoJo, but Warner asked for too much money.

There's also this
"There are multiple streaming services out there who have already made it their business to outbid us and secure exclusive rights to shows Toonami has expressed interest in. It's happened several times already. We are now leverage for licensors to go get more cash."
As mentioned earlier, Netflix and Hulu basically consider Toonami a credible threat to their anime crowd, so they're going out of their way to fuck Toonami out of airing rights.

then Toonami needs to go for the stuff thats good but less popular.

I think Toonami should air Viz's dub of the 90's Sailor Moon.

It's extremely recent. AKA still running in Japan-recent.

imagine iRobot but with a cute robot girl and Will Smith is a Japanese guy that prefers diesel. and knives. and wires. and knives with wires.

and there's a cool phantom thief.

That's not what this guy is telling me:

At least this show is supposed to end after 12 episodes.

That guy sounds like a prude.
don't listen to him.

If an anime were judged based on fan service, he'd probably call gurren lagan shit based off of shots of Yoko.

Also! Out of the 2 episodes I have seen, I have not even seen the main girl's butt, outside of the ONE part in the opening, and maybe some parts at the end because same girl is in action shots.

Outside of those. I think there was probably one. And even then I dont remember when it was in those two episodes.

So yeah, unless the series suddenly go ass crazy, I think he's talking out his ass.

He sounds like a joyless prude

"4/10. Butts offend me"

well, I keep wanting to add to my posts and I don't like editing posts once they get a like.

that said, Dimension W is not something I'm too interested in, but I don't think it's bad.

All I know about it is that it has a robot girl and is currently on episode 5.

So yeah this seems really quick.

Bump, but yeah if you haven't heard the news yet there are at least gonna be two more new seasons of FLCL which apparently is being funded by Cartoon Network.

Gonna be honest not really excited about this. FLCL was one of those shows where like 6~ episodes was fine for the story it was trying to tell. It had some unexplained plot points, but nothing worth more seasons to be made. Out of all the shows they ultimately chose the one that didn't badly need another season.

It also doesn't help that nearly nobody that was involved with the original FLCL production is gonna be involved with this one.

Still gonna watch it when it happens, but my expectations are placed cautiously low.

Well now's your chance. It is spectacular. The best shonen out there. I hope the dub delivers.

Well it would be the best chance for that title to achieve mainstream relevance in the West so hope it works out. Also Vee is Killua haha.

Looks like i'll have to care about Kid Yusuke and Yo-Yo Champ after all
All I know about HxH is that the last animated arc has not-Cell and the author regularly competes with Berserk's author for least productivity.

When's this? This just ended and I miss Crispin as Shizuo.

I remember when Toonami tried to get the rights for it and couldn't because it would have been too expensive, bur now I guess ViZ is going in to take Funi's place on being the go to anime dubbing.
