Hi!

Three weeks ago I started putting out a tutorial video every Tuesday to cover small topics that I saw some other players struggling with. Here's what I've done so far:

01 - Blocking while Dashing

02 - Peacock Alpha Counters

03 - Ms Fortune's Head's Defensive Options

Honorary Tuestorial from 2013 - How to do Cerebella's j.LP x3 to j.HP restand

Let me know if you have any feedback or ideas for future videos! I'm probably going to make a video about Lenny today and something about having a gameplan and sticking to it next week, but that's all I have planned so far.

One thing about the cerebella j.lp restand, you can actually hit j.hp at the same time you pressed your third j.lp instead of doing the plink timing.

Also, thanks for making these <3

That's right! I didn't know that until after I made the video so I added it to the description a while back, but I should add it as an annotation too. I'll do that once I'm home from work.

Hello! When I started doing these videos 6 weeks ago, I had 5 ideas for topics that I really wanted to make tutorials on. Those were the topics I used for videos 1-4, as well as a general "have a gameplan and stick to it" video that I keep putting off because it'll take ages to make.

I figured that I would naturally come up with more ideas for topics while I made these initial 4 videos, but that hasn't really happened. So because of that, I'm going to put this series on hold until I come up with more topics that I think will be useful to enough players. On the bright side, not having to make a video every week will give me much more time to actually play the game and get up to speed with a new team before I fly out to NEC and maybe I could even finish a full Peacock combo video for once.

I hope you found these videos helpful!

It's not Tuesday, but I made a super quick tutorial video on dealing with Peacocks who predictably cover their teleports with L bomb. It's really simple but a lot of people struggle with the Peacock matchup, so hopefully it's useful!

Summary:
- Backdash away from the bomb and punish
- Step back a tiny bit and throw punish, so the bomb moves through you while you're in your throw animation
- Call an assist (or put out a projectile) to take the hit from the bomb
- Character specific: put something out that won't go away when your character gets hit, such as Parasoul's bike or Peacock's M bomb, then let Peacock's bomb hit you and get the punish anyway

Would you take any kind of requests from new players? Or are there tutorial series that are geared more for n00bs?

Someone was talking about Peacock's options for blocking while backdashing, so I made a quick video on it because it wasn't properly covered in my original video. TL;DR: cancel her backdash into a forward dash then immediately block.

Does this mean Tuestorials are coming back?

It just means some people were talking about blocking from Peacock's backdash in the SG discord, and it made me realize that a lot of people didn't know the backdash->forward dash->block thing. I've been busy with work and Combo Breaker practice and combo video stuff lately, but I have a couple of ideas for tutorial videos that I'll get around to recording at some point.

Slightly worth noting maybe that the recovery was quietly changed to full invincible recovery last patch so it's no longer punishable when you don't perform the follow up.
Before you could super him if you were beside him and he ended it without putting you in blockstun first.
