Under Night In-Birth

I'm interested in getting the game but I have a few questions:
-If I buy the Japanese version can I play with people who have the western release?
-How much is this game in the psn store...?

Thanks! :)

Most game netcodes are based on where you live, or where you SAY you live.

So if you download the game on jap psn, go back to you main USA account, and play the game from there, you should be fine.

I'm like at 30% right now.

I'm kind of half erect.

I was supposed to go to bed early for an event I'm helping set up tomorrow.

I think I'm going to be late to that event.

Just went into training with Yuzu.

Is her space control as good as i think it is?

That can't be right. She has sick space control, what I think is a counter, a teleport, and some cool looking combos?

I installed the game and just spent the last five hours or so dickin' around in training mode. So far I'm having a lot of fun playing as Eltnum and Waldstein, but some of the other characters seem interesting as well. I'm really enjoying the game and I look forward to putting a little more time into it.

$90AU to get the PSN cards to buy, this. If I had any faith the game would survive here I think I would take it... but that's too steep for a game that I give a month at best.

You can't gameshare with anyone?

Becomes a 45 dollar purchase.

The card I got was $70, and since I'm splitting it two ways with a friend it's not too bad.

I played Causals for the first time when it came out with a group of local people, wow I love Carmine, too bad he looks like the crude fusion of every edgy villain character from every anime ever, he is so much fun tho

Hi five. Great minds think alike.

He kinda reminds me of what Eliza could've been if they kept the blood mechanic. Gameplay-wise, obviously, not personality.

Yeah, I think I'll head out to the weekly around me and try it out if they have it.

I really like how his projectiles work, a good spaced puddle could give you a decently damaging combo into oki from midscreen, dont really know what his 22C super does though is it for veiloff into 236D?

I think I'm going to play Vat.

1.She's a loli

2.She has a competent spacing game and that's all I really want in a character. Clean spacing and footsies.

I really like Vat but she is a charge character which I am notoriously bad at inputs for

Also Seth, looks ridiculous wow Teleports + Hazama+ Mu, wow crazyness ensues

+Oh geez he got touched by someone in vorpal and has 100 meter, he's probably fucking dead next mixup.

He's a vortex character, they're known for being all or nothing.

So I ended up getting it.

I like a few characters, but mostly messing around with Byakuya now, he needs a spiderman palette.

I'm maining (or subbing) lolibot too, when she gets her ranged game going she's a beast (1.3k off lasers? 1.5k+ if they land on an A ball on the way down), her flash kick is ridiculous (1.8k raw???) and she is hardly lacking in close-ranged tools ([9] jC land-jump 2A, as well as 66c to switch sides, bomb setting combos, ending anything in the corner with flash kick -> slow ball -> drop bombs).

To be honest I think she's probably in some tier between the obvious trio and everyone else but she's so fun that I want to use her anyway.

My friend found a 4k midscreen loop, I want to see if I can get prism oki off that loop.

Okay man Vatista is hard.

Really hard.

We should start putting Unib Skullheart lobbies up so can all get accustomed to matchups and such.

The execution level in this game in general seems farly high.

Seth and Carmine especially have been difficult to get BnBs down for.

Hilda looks like the lovechild between Virgillia and Beatrice from Ougon, she looks so awesome

It's average.

The learning curve characters seem to be Chaos, Yuzu, and Vistia.
Everyone else you can kind of just pick up and play and learn as you go forward.

I'm not feeling that with Seth haha.

Not even taking into account the difficulty of his hitconfirms and how they affect the BnB (ie. your 2A confirm has to be straight from 2A to 5C) Seth combos feel pretty difficult to execute. Then you have to get setups / unblockables and things down as well as confirms off of everything.

The 6C > j.236B > j.214A > 214B ~ [4 + B] > 2A+B > 2C(1) xx 623A part of his BnB is pretty difficult.

Also Vatista isn't mobile enough for me, she's being dropped for Yu Jr.

I mean he's not Hyde nor Linne, no.

But as soon as you get your bnb down, you can start running your vortex game, if your read is right you can keep the opposing player down the entire match, killing them in about 4 optimized combos.

2a>5c isn't so bad, especially in a game with chains and reverse beat.

Byakuya is kinda super easy, though, so not much to complain about.

Oh yeah, super easy and super fun.

I'm really enjoying him, though. As Vatista I always got a little worried when there weren't enough shit on the screen, kind of like Rachel, needs at least George out like at semi all times.

But with Byakuya, his trap game is a little more reactive instead of proactive.

Yeah he's more of a mid range poke character, I like playing him though I am struggling super hard against Gordeau players and to a lesser extent Merkava.

The webs do a ton of damage and keep them in blockstun for so long, not to mention the demon flip options afterwards.

I want to see the hitboxes on j.2[C]. I do assault j.2[C] all the time, even from full screen, it just seems to win so often. Easy confirm into 5C > j. series > full combo as well.

I haven't found any use for 623A/B at all yet, though. I only set ground webs from demon flip and even then it is usually only during 623C oki setups.

Man the debate in my head over Lolibot and Yu Jr is pretty serious.
As Lolibot I have:
A ton of tool, but need to be proactive with all of them.

As Yu Jr I have:
Some tools, but can react easier.

I haven't seen many Byakuya players around for some reason.

Anyone here playing spiderman?
