UNDERTALE; A wacky throwback for EARTHBOUND/MOTHER fans!

And to think everytime
he stepped up to Sans, Sans put his ass down
Have you SEEN the Sans boss fight? No wonder Flowey got stomped on

I kinda liked
How the Flowey fight saved between phases.
I know he was toying with you but
That actually made things somewhat fair for those who suck at SHMUPS

Yeah that was a huge bitch to deal with just like
WHY
But again, thankfully it saved between phases.
Also
Did you really think
I'd only want to kill you once?

Fucking CHILLS man

In the genocide run, either Flowery is lying or being dishonest with himself or I dunno.

He says there are timelines where he saved everyone and killed everyone, yet if he killed everyone and succeeded, why is he here now? Everything should be moot, but he also says Sans put him in the dirt everytime he stepped to the pun loving bone guy. So either Flowery didn't ever succeed and Sans fucked him up, which is plausible; or he reset the timeline each time he won because he never really wanted to win, which is also plausible.

I'd like to think he was bored alone so he decided to start everything over.
Either that or he enjoyed killing everyone so much he wanted to do it again
And again
And again

Serious question:
Who would want to do a voiced playthrough of this for youtube or something?
I'd need someone to edit everything together as well since I suck at that.

Just peace out after you've had your fill of bad time.

Props to the heroes who pushed through and saw the end.

But then

You can't sell your soul to Chara which gives another ending if you start over and do a pacifist run it's a minor change but overall makes the ending less happy.

So I'd say complete the genocide run.

That's precisely why I DID NOT finish the run, I didn't even know about spoilers, I just grinded, got to that part, and used every single item I had, the game was short so I just restarted.

If you do a true pacifist run from here and get the best ending, Flowey has a few choice words for you...

Already got them, he knows when to step back because my boy is always lurking, just waiting for a timeline to distort too far.

He's got nothing and no one to wait for.

actually 100% good ending... like the very last thing right after all the credits... it made me cry.
legit made we want to stop everything go back home hug my mom and spend the whole day with my family relaxing and drinking hotcoco. That kind of feels man. that kind of feels...

oh god... i'm so fucking home sick now.

I killed Flowey at the end of the neutral route, I feel so bad because apparently he breaks down crying at the end.
I...didn't want him to kill Asgore again... I was misinformed...

Like I said, it rivals P4 in terms of sunshine it puts in your heart.

Doesn't help that one of the last bosses is just the coolest rainbow explosion concievable.

Reminder that a secret miniboss is available on the 10th of October at 8pm

That track is easily one of my favorite boss fight themes from any game. It fits, is so climactic, and just sounds fantastic.

yup it's good that I have it on quick play on my keyboard macro buttons so if I ever face one of my rivals in a match, that I'll have plenty of hype backing me up.

Fun fact, that track has been in at least two other works now. The Halloween Hack and Homestuck, I believe. All 3 are different arrangements. It's kind of the composers signature song. Worth listening to the others, though I think this is the best version yet.

Wimp

Mettaton's theme has to be my favorite that and the true hero's theme. Mettaton's theme just has that style I like. The whole soundtrack is great though.

But then again... The Killer route has by far one of the best boss remix themes ever...

you could say you can feel the hype building up in your bones...

More like "feel your sins crawling up your back".

People don't even understand that Sans is trying to kill you so hard, he's actually breaking the universe, cutting to different versions of himself attacking you in different timelines.

Well he IS a quantum physicist who fit multiple quantum physics books within each other, so he knows how to break the universe. That's kinda his thing and why he can teleport to places

If you get the Pacifist Ending, your thoughts on Flowey might change. But to do that you have to NOT HURT GOAT MOM I'M STILL GOING TO STOMP YOU AT NEC FOR THAT

So still on my virgin run while playing pacifist and I had a slight story-related question
just had dinner with sans while he tells me about how he met an old lady at a door where they tell each other knock knock jokes. He mentions that she tells him to take care of a human. Is it safe to assume the lady is Toriel? If I had killed her at the beginning, would she have not been able to make the request to Sans, resulting in me fighting him on the spot?

RemiKz:
Yes it was Toriel and no it wouldn't affect you because she had asked Sans a bit before your fight so you'd still be able to finish the game and do a neutral route or genocide route if you wanted to. I think I explained it without spoiling anything

Like is this an actual RP blog because I am in the midst of making an Undertale AU of my OC for the express purpose of RPing with Undertales
Sort of...

So, uh. Bit late to the party.
I just wanted to say firstly Undertale is probably GOTY 2015, and possibly one of the finest crafted games of all time. That's already been repeated over and over already. This game is a masterpiece, should be treated as such, and known by any person who wants to create a video game reminiscent of art.

I have not played Undertale.
I want to preface everything I continue to say with that statement. I had no real plans to play it, until I watched a friend play it. And I just had to keep watching. And that's how some very major spoilers got ruined for me.
And then I did the worst possible thing ever and watched a playthrough. I know, I'm absolute trash.

Anyways, after watching it, most of the stuff I had seen was the important stuff. Almost the entire pre-pacifist ending/end-game, boss fights, and the whole beginning. I watched a playthrough of what decisions I would make (Or any person with a SOUL).

So basically nothing was really there that I hadn't seen if it wasn't major. Now, with that said, I then continued to watch more playthroughs of every ending. After many tears and emotions, I realized something.

This game is PERFECT.
Not the false sense of perfect, where I could imagine flaws.
PERFECT. In the truest sense.

Undertale was a game that made me burst into tears for events I already knew happened, for characters I had only met an hour ago, for things that just...

The story is handled flawlessly, the characters executed perfectly, the music a bliss to listen to.

The only actual flaw I had was the art style in the overworld. In battle stuff looks totally great though.

That, and the way the game does the really lame save-file stuff. I always found that to be so cliche and "oh look im spooky."

Anyways, I feel like Undertale is a game I don't even have to play to absolutely love. I really don't care for RPGs when it comes to gameplay anyways, but that's not the point. The game is so much more than "gameplay" that looking at it like that is a mistake.

I don't know if I want to play it or not. I really think at this point, with how much I've seen, and loved, mind, of the game...It wouldn't really change much to play it. Maybe I should, but IDK. That's a decision I can make at some later time.

...Megalovania is also one of the best tracks in any game I've ever heard. Perfectly captures the character you're fighting while still being insanely epic.

So.
My favorite song in the game
Still manages to bring tears into my eyes
Those who did the True Pacifist Ending know why

But perhaps... With what little strength you have left... ... you can SAVE something else.

I've attempted voicing parts of Sans' fight from the Genocide route:
Intro: http://vocaroo.com/i/s0FamsaRvxvV
"Spare": http://vocaroo.com/i/s1oy2mDaKUqI

Note, there are of course spoilers in both those links.
Also, I know that it might not be the best, or what people would think he'd sound like but... I tried

My favourite is Bergentruckung.

It's sooooooo good, not only as a piece of music (it's the song I want to see given actual instrumentation the most) but from a story perspective. The entire literary idea is Asgore to a T without feeling contrived.

I remember when I actually looked up the song, found the title and just kind of internally nodded to Fox, honestly didn't know he was that well read.
