I think I want to learn these characters.
I'm new to SG, can you recommend them and do they work well together?

do they work well together?

These two characters are very flexible and it won't be too hard to find synergy between the two.
Valentine as your first character and Parasoul as your second is a good jumping off point, Val with c.MK or her throw as her first ensemble and Parasoul you can choose to either have Napalm Pillar or Napalm Shot, it depends whether you want a reversal or a projectile.

But really the only way to find out if a couple of characters work together is to play em ;), look up some combos and learn how they can work together! :D

Ok cool.
I was still on the fence about one character only or two characters.

But since I heard most people use a 2 character team I want to learn 2 as well. And I like Valentine and Parasoul the most so far.

Val cr.mk or hk bypass (plus points if you use s.mk assist and use j.hk tear toss as para) + napalm pillar. Neutral will be harder without a horizontal assist, but the tradeoff is higher damage.

The hardest part will be coming back in the match with Parasoul if Valentine dies without doing any work.

You will want to put prioritize a safe DHC or safe tag to get Valentine out and healing so you can play her again.

I'd probably recommend Valentine (cMK) and Parasoul (Napalm Pillar) like the others.

I've seen the Val/Para duo around for a long time, you can make it work fine if that's the team you want to play for sure!

Ok, well after messing around with the cast a bit, Valentine, Parasoul and Eliza are my favorites.
How hard is Eliza to learn?

Eliza is not too hard.
She's probably going to be easier than Parasoul to play because Eliza has really good air mobility which helps in a lot of Match Ups.

She's got really good normals too, like Valentine.

Valentine > Eliza
Valentine > Parasoul > Eliza

Would work as teams if you want to play Eliza.

Cool thanks, might try Valentine > Eliza first.
