What is the possibility of being able to use comic sans in threads?

This isn't comic sans, but it does look slightly similar.

Like I've said in the title, I was wondering if it was possible to be able to use comic sans for text in threads. Book Antiqua does look similar, but I don't feel as if it is even to the level of Chalkboard. I understand that comic sans has kind of gathered a reputation, and as a result can elicit a negative reaction, and I think that is hilarious. I understand that it sounds like I'm suggesting "add this thing to the forum because I think it would be funny" because that is almost exactly what I'm saying, except I formatted it into a question.

In addtion, I was curious as to what decisions need to be made and what restrictions there are when making seemingly small decisions like what fonts the website uses. How much work is it for one font family to be added for use? How much effort/resources would it take to add Bronx Bystreets, Selznick Remix, or Ritzy Remix?

Thanks for any reading, consideration, and conversation.

To answer the question in the title: Zero, because there's literally no use for it that I can see other than annoying people that care too much about typefaces. If you want it, you'll need to convince me otherwise.

As for what goes into deciding what the site looks like, it's all done by hand by me which is quite time consuming for minimal benefit. Of course, if people have a problem with the way something looks or absolutely need something to be added then I'm happy to do it, but only if there's a good reason to justify the time. Consider that even after stepping back from all moderation on the forums I'm still spending 1-2 hours a day to keep the site kicking along, which is time I could be spending doing things like studying for my exam on Friday or actually playing a fighting game for a change.

With that said, I'm always completely happy to listen to any requests that are serious, so assuming that I'm not missing some sort of joke/reference in regards to the font, is there something you've noticed that you think could be improved/fixed?

Comic sans is a silly font that I make my default whenever possible. I actually like the way it looks though. If it were available here, I would just edit all of my posts in my training diary to use the font.

To be truthful, my main goal for this thread was to learn about what goes into working on/making skullheart, cause that's a thing I don't know very much about, though the thing that pushed me to ask was seeing that the only recent post in this section was some random guy asking for his account to be deleted. It really bothered me that if someone were to look at Forum Inquiries, the first thing that shows up relating to it on the main forum page was something like that.

The only thing I've noticed in the creation of the thread is that when I google Book Antiqua, none of the results actually look similar to how it appears on SH. I'm not sure if I'm just seeing it wrong or the results are weird.

I appreciate all the work you've put in these years, like the stream display and upcoming events. Especially during those tough times with the website.

Sorry for the terse reply before. If you've got specific questions I'd be happy to answer them but to give a short overview: the forum software is licensed from Xenforo for ~$50/year, and that gives almost all of the basic functionality (making accounts, posting, likes, etc.). As you can see if you click on the '[SH] Filmstrip' link at the bottom of the page, the default skin they give you is pretty boring, so I installed a freely-available one called Flexile (which required some tweaking to get working with newer versions of the forum software when it was discontinued) and then manually changed things a bit more to make things look a bit more appropriate to the SG theme. Many of the advanced features on the site (news page, steams plugin, etc.) were made by Jaxel of 8WAYRUN (who you might know as a streamer of 3D FGC content) and again worked more or less out of the box once licensed.

I can't really take credit for any of that, a lot of my time is spent keeping the connections between those three areas playing nicely - whenever I update the forum software, styles, or plugins there is always something that breaks in one of the other areas of the site. The only things you can probably see that I did myself were small bits like the list of upcoming majors on the index and the character icons under your avatar, which is mostly because it's difficult enough keeping other stuff working that is supported by other people without attempting to add more features and introducing even more needless errors across the site (for example, the fact that selecting your characters in your profile is done with a massive bullet list instead of a nice drop-down menu is because the latter approach causes all hell to break loose with the formatting next to your posts for some reason).

The only thing I've noticed in the creation of the thread is that when I google Book Antiqua, none of the results actually look similar to how it appears on SH. I'm not sure if I'm just seeing it wrong or the results are weird.
I think this is something to do with the way browsers assume that the font is provided by the website instead of looking on the client's computer. THat should be a relatively simple fix, so I'll fix it when I get a moment. I'm pretty sure it's just defaulting to any old serif font at the moment. The default on the forum in Calibri/Verdana and I think Book Antiqua is probably just showing up as Times New Roman or something for most people.
