What move do you always accidentally use?

Sometimes I forget that I have an optimized combos and resets with titan knuckle and H bypass, call the assist but I do c.hp instead and the assist just goes away.

im really surprised im seeing so many people saying st.mp for BB.

how are people getting this? are people doing it in combos by mistake or what? use cr.MP instead.

Happens rarely. I get it by human error.
After decades of fighters, I'm so ingrained in that MP is MP, and not a taunt-thing. Traditionally, it'd be a special taunt-like input. But there's a first for everything; it's fine. I played a lot of Q in SF3:TS, so some of his other stuff is pretty familiar.

Do a HCT if you need to differentiate, you will never get a DP. Should be the case for every DP with an overlapping QCT. (BB even stole this.)
Cool Thanks Mike Z <3. Also sometimes I want to dash (I use the actual FF input and not L.P+M.P when I'm GROUNDED) and I try to input heavy Ringlet Spike with the half circle and sometimes get DP. It may be me inputting too fast but is that some kinda of buffer issue or am I just input error-ing?

Poor poor poor execution on my part, but Fukua clones. The amount of times I mk clone instead of hk clone in particular is a bother.

Also, dear Squigly, once in a while I do actually want to f.hp, please stop defaulting to cr.hp.

Peacock: Occasional Lenny instead of George cancels. Like I even need the meter.

Cerebella: Diamond reflect instead of excellebella, but then lock'n'load instead of diamond reflect. Looks very smart mid-argus.

Big Band: SSJ instead of extending the beat. Tuba-tuba-tuba that air, it deserves it.

I sometimes make QCF+PP supers instead of pushblock when I'm crouching. Just doing them to late.

Recently, I've been accidentally using the wrong moves with Squigs. One being after an air combo. I am supposed to use silver chord, but sometimes I use C.LK, C.MK, C.HK instead. It messes up whatever clever idea I had at the time.

Lately I've been accidentally doing Squigly's Drag n' Bite instead of her overhead. I've lost like five matches directly because of this.

By upbacking you can accidently do a qcb so what you need (I think) is cleaner inputs 'cause this can happen when you super jump and it happens (you accidentally hit 2147 when all you wanted was 27 and then you pressed a macro button which might've 'caused the move to come out)

So what I'm saying is, you are tk-ing cat spike when you up back.

Practice makes perfect and all that.

Yeah, that actually makes a lot of sense. I'll be sure to keep that in mind when I'm playing now. Thanks a ton!

Beware, High Levels of "Goddamn".

Big Band:
That goddamn s.MP out of nowwhere, that goddamn Beat Extend outta nowwhere in the middle of a combo or in every other situation, that goddamn c.HP when I am trying to do s.HP.

Peacock:
That goddamn s.HK when I trying to do "George at the Air Show".

Filia - s.hk when I want instant j.hk is a pressure string situation.
Big Band - c.hp when I want s.hp, some random s.mp.

Nothing really weird happens input-wise with my Val, other than vials in cross up situations, when I'm trying to move back/forward to predict where to block and I try to hit a crouching light cuz I know I'll have enough time to hit them before they attack me.

Tremolo. It's always Tremolo for Squigs.

s.hk instead of fiber and tumble run...

Instead of launching with st.:HP: with Fukua (usually after a cr.:LK:, cr.:MP: string) I sometimes tend to hit cr.:HP: instead. I mean, yes I can still combo into drill, but I still lose out on so much damage. It's the difference between taking half of their lifebar and only 1/4 of it.

Block their advance as Peacock. Awesome!
Pushblock them half a screen away to give myself some room. Awesome!
MP Bang! ... :v

I do 2HP too... into 214HK. MORE damage! rather than less.

dynamo, when I am trying to go from crouch-block to forward dash.

After staggering an opponent at the beginning of my Cerebella combo and trying to glide low, I do Tent-Stake Hammer instead.

Not really. I can get the same damage output, or even higher just by going into launcher and doing a 2x relaunch loop into drill super. I mean, yes you can do that out of QCF+HK into BFF, but it's more meter for just about the same damage.

I can't count how many times I've crossed under someone with double jLK jMK jHK > dash > dash to reset with cLK and gotten LK Bomber instead.

When incorpriting Dragon Punch into my combo, for some reason it sometimes ends up as Drag N Bite. Slip of the thumb I guess?
(Tis' be the curse of large fingers and odd wrist movements)

After doing a :D: :HP: always throwing a dead cross instead of jumping and engaging an air combo

Drag'n bite when I try to use ashes to ashes. Daisy pusher when I try to grab.

Since I finally got the muscle memory to try to keep a back charge whenever I'm chaining with Bella, now I do a lot of accidental tumbling runs instead of the intended forward jump cancel into j.MK after a c.HP launch.

Drill instead of updo, poison load instead of lvl5.
For some reason if the opponent is blocking and I call in assist I accidentally do poison load (which turns out to be pretty handy).

I still do drill into bff with fukua

Not a game issue, but for some reason whenever I button dash with LP+MP I get slightly frequently fHP and randomly get sHP in neutral at times. Dunno whats up with that.

Ground PBGC into jLK for an anti-air becomes egret call, cause of course.

After blocking anything and trying to dash in with button dashes, Napalm Shot instead.

Occasionally messing up Napalm Pillar and getting Egret Charge is pretty fun.

Just yesterday I did a jumping jLP jHP into immediate Egret Call on the ground. Yeah....

Wakeup jump airthrow or just ground throw and getting Napalm Trigger.

Hi yes did someone say napalm toss

That's my favorite

Cross someone up, napalm toss spam by accident

The best part isn't just the error, but when you see the error and you get mad and go FFFFFFFUUUUUUUUCK and try to keep hitting kick buttons from rage thinking it will make things better, but it only makes things worse.

There's some Parasoul I see in QM who always just does c.mp whenever he makes this mistake, and it works waaaay more often than it should.

(And I always get various run moves when I'm trying a Bella command grab from down back, and Battle Toads when I'm attempting Tumbling Run xx Dynamo [usually, when I do this, I'm planning on DHCing to Para level 3, so getting an unsafe non-invincible thing instead of my safe character swap is infuriating.])

Air heavy dead cross. I end up tiger kneeing after the launch and then it comes out (noob thing I know). Just going from cr.hp and directly put the stick up rather than up/forward should do the trick.

I don't know why, and this didn't happen until I accidentally did it once against negus, but all of a sudden my s.hk TK heavy divekick has turned into s.hk xx tremelo.

Apparently negus mind fucked me so hard that I can't tiger knee with squigly anymore.

Yeah, sometimes I just start making mistakes that I never made before and it's really hard to correct them immediately. After some training sessions they just stop happening. It's really strange.
