She's like luring you into her next terrifying and health-bar smashing move. But it's not really working.

Also love Squigly's forward walk, cause she's all dainty and pretty and civilized, but when she's moving away from the opponent, she's all cautious and 'Oh be careful Leviathan".

And damn, couldn't find a gif of Filias crouching MK.

So many things to love about the Skullgirls animation, it’s just too freakin beautiful.

But the animation I love the most at the moment is Big Bands H Brass Knuckle:



It looks so awesome; you wouldn’t initially expect someone without visible arms to get this mechanical fist flying at you which is literally built out of musical instruments. Also: The trench coat waving in the movement, sweet!

But the most beautiful part about it, and that’s why I love the hard version especially, is when Big Band stands still for a second after the punch and the compressed air / steam is ejected out of the machinery, with fitting sound effects. So gorgeous looking can’t wait for that to be colored in completely.

The steam effects are so awesome here, of course other moves of him have it too, but with Big Band just standing there with the still extended "fist" and then the machine spits out the steam… so badass looking.

The failed Squigly animation is when she fucks up her grab. The anger in her face there is halarious XD

Cerebella's crouching animation is kind of cute especially with the way she wiggles her hands side by side. That wiggling looks familiar.

It's a homage to an oft-used gag in many older cartoons. Peacock takes a paintbrush and paint bucket out from behind her back, paints a tunnel opening onto the wall, and then a train comes out of it. (And she eats the paintbrush.)

Kind of like this, but with less roadrunner and more train coming out of the painted end of the tunnel.


Bonus points: The train has Tommy Ten Tons' face (ala Thomas the Tank Engine, but angrier) and is conducted by Andy Anvil. Ah, what could have been.

Maaan that would've been a sweet super, and the train's face is really sexy.

I hope we'll get to see it in the future. Or maybe it's completely scrapped and I'll just cry forever about it

Hah, this one is my favourite too, it captures Cerebella's personality so well.
I also love Peacock's forward dash, perfectly cartoony for her.
