Suggested Eliza changes for next balancing cycle

Yes yes yes to LK Spiral having better frame advantage, I'd give my left arm for that. Likewise to making s.LP or s.MK suction or something to keep small light characters from falling out of combos, I would love that. I don't necessarily agree with So this will all need to be filtered through...

I bet Fukua's really good with babies.

    Squigly/Eliza tips

I don't play this team myself, but Alexpi (hi Alex) uses these two toegether and uses Horace for Eliza's assist. Squigly gets really, really nasty high/lows with it and it can save her against mashing.

    Dealing with Undizzy burst

You generally want to reset early and often, until you'll kill with a full combo from the next hit. Learning to judge how much health and off what hits you can kill from is something that you'll pick up as you continue to play the game. Resets are generally some kind of mixup (high, low, throw...

USA Kansas City + St Louis: Midwestgirls

At some point you're going to get tired of the "I'm busy" excuse and run me out of the scene with torches and pitchforks, but.... I'm busy. Between work and school and transitioning I don't really have a lot of time for fighters. The time I do have, I usually spend playing Persona because that's...

I work Fridays and now Saturdays ( orz af), so it's pretty hard for me to come out to things on those days. I go out to Blue Springs on Thursdays instead. No Skullgirls gets played there, though. :/

I'm hosting locals in Lawrence tonight on the off chance that any of you guys aren't with your families and on the other off chance you're willing to make the drive out. Check the Facebook group or PM me for more details.

It's on like Donkey Kong. Also, if I host at my house in Lawrence, the only days I'll be able to will be Saturday and maybe Thursday, which basically means I'll only get people from KC out if AJ and whoever runs Thursday locals are out of town or something. Still, working out details and if...

I wish I could have seen it firsthand. I managed to catch the very tail end of the last SSJ, but most of what I saw was you guys lighting that side of the room on fire.

[Oct 25, 2014] KO 2014 @ ExtraLife (Kansas City, KS)

I'm pretty ashamed of myself for not playing with you guys, but I didn't want to interrupt any sets (also there was generally something amazing happening and I was busy being mesmerized by things like Big Band parrying through incoming mixup).

[Oct 25, 2014] KO 2014 @ ExtraLife (Kansas City, KS)

Some twisted part of me wants the KC team to get absolutely mopped just so I can watch us all collectively put our foot in our mouths. (Also at some point I'll be confident in my Skullgirlsery to sign up to a Skullgirls tournament but that point isn't KO)

    Filia Partners?

My current playstyle is that kind of scrubby super annoying "use Knuckles to plow through the screen while throwing out darts and shadows to keep you on your toes while working my way in" variety. I want to get away from that, but I still like the core idea. I just want to not be a scumbag with...

    Filia Partners?

I have a question along this vein. I've somehow managed to avoid actually learning Skullgirls at all for the past six months, but I'm getting into it now and I want a third team member. I run Fukua/Big Band right now (usually M. Shadow and H. Knuckles assists), and I was wondering how they would...

We should have a Monopoly tournament next time to see if we can make something last longer than Street Fighter. :D

    Fukua Team and Assists Thread

Was it a good idea when I put Painwheel on my team to make it Fukua/Painwheel/Big Band? I have no idea what assist I can use on Painwheel, but I usually have M Shadow (which I change to H shadow sometimes for giggles) on Fukua and H Knuckles/L Beat Extend on Big Band. Are these terrible ideas?
