Basically any match between characters who are more or less "rivals" in terms of their stories. i.e Fillia/Squiggly, Val/Painwheel, Eliza/Double, ect. More so for spectating as I play Peacock and Big Band almost exclusively.

Peacock's design was a major part of what attracted me to Skullgirls. She just stood out in a game that already stood out thanks to its art style. I also love her backstory and how surprisingly important she is to the plot. And considering I'm not that great at fighting games, her keep away...

So, anyone have tips for taking on Eliza with Peacock? Her attacks seem to have pretty good range, so it's a bit tough to play keep away with her if she's rushing me. Thanks.

IX is my favorite in the series, followed by X, VI, VII, and IV. Yeah I put X ahead of VI. Blasphemy right?

I think I started with either Filia or Cerebella. As they were the only ones playable on the demo initially. Went on to main Peacock and Ms. Fortune for a while, switched the latter for Filia, and then switched her for Big Band.

So, I never really played an MK game before. (I have played one of the older ones at a friend's house for a little while but that's it) Does anyone know if the new MK is worth playing right now?

You make a good point. A lot of the characters do have their stories tied around the Skullgirl. Valentine, Squiggly, Painwheel, ect.

In my head-canon, Peacock would fight Marie, but the fight ends in a draw and Marie escapes. Throughout the story, Peacock would join with most of the other cast. (Minus Big Band, Beowulf, and Double First two will be fighting their own battles, Double will either be dead or commencing the...

I used to just view Double with contempt considering how manipulative she is and what she does to those she defeats. But then I played Eliza's story.

I mainly use D-pad. Although I find it easier to do Big Band's punch attacks by using the analog stick.

New characters that come out, how fun online fights can be, the interesting story and cast of characters, and the community.

Goddamn. I never expected to feel bad for But yeah, I really like how this story provided quite a bit of insight into the parasites, Aeon, Venus, and their mom. Eliza herself is one cold motherfucker.

Fukua. Well, as a joke character, I like her. And I enjoyed her story mode. But GODDAMN is she annoying to fight online. She hits both hard and fast, and she can just spam that mid air projectile attack over and over again. At least the other characters that can zone have some sort of recovery...
