can you make an assist block?

i notice you can make em do different moves with custom assist, i might try to see if they can jump attack or just do plains movements with no attacks

No, you have to press at least one button.

You can make them dash or backdash with direction + two punches though
That's about as close as you'll get to movement with no attacking.
Oh and pain wheel using fly as an assist is kinda funny.

Yeah I remember when Mike-Z was all like "She can fly unlimited time!" (he really pointed it out as a great and very important thing IMO) and then people used fly as an assist and broke the game. So now it's no longer unlimited. :P

@OP Unfortunately unless a block will be some kind of special "shield" move you won't be able to do that kind of thing.
