hi guys im new to the forums and i switched from keyboard to controller recently and i was just wondering out of curiosity if all humans mash buttons at the same speed and if it matters in fighting games...

also does your arm position matter like resting on laps vs holding in the air also do fat people or skinny people have any advantages at fighting games? i'm just trying to have every physical advantage

IIRC if you have longer arms, it takes longer for the signal from your brain to reach your hands...but it's a like a difference of nanoseconds or something, and totally irrelevant for a game that moves at 60 fps.

All human beings have the same potential reaction and button pressing speed, I think. But actually training yourself to be able to move and think that fast requires time/skill/effort, etc.

im 400 lbs and i'm bad so i don't recommend being fat

My crypt fingers are pretty fast, but they break constantly. I wouldn't recommend being a skeleton like me.
