Figured we could do with a thread for people to post tech like combos, resets, burst baits, etc.
Here's a few resources for anyone looking to get started with Double.
Double's page on the wiki, where you can find optimal and beginner combos, resets, move breakdowns, etc: https://wiki.gbl.gg/w/Skullgirls/Double
Here's a compendium of (solo) Double tech for anyone who wants some videos to learn from and here's a combo and reset/burst bait compilation from said playlist:
For anyone looking for the basic tech needed to get started, have a look at the combos in the primer on the wiki and then for resets I would recommend learning:
...5HK jLP jMP(3) jHK left/right/airthrow. This should be your standard midscreen vortex. Works at max undizzy, beats falling buttons and double jump and only loses to air supers.
...5HK 236HP dash j7LK jHK left/right/airthrow. This is a corner vortex but the timing varies between characters so it's more difficult than the above reset.
...5HK jLP/jLK(1) jMK jHK j214MK 2LK/Throw/!5LK 236HP. This is a restand into your standard mix options (low/throw) with the option for a cheeky burst bait (!5LK 236HP) to catch all those QM Bands mashing SSJ constantly. This is a pretty standard reset so you can expect people to be prepared with the throw tech. Works midscreen and in the corner.
...4LK+HK dash 5LK 2MP 2HP 214K jLP jHP(1) jHK left/right/airthrow. This is your standard vortex off of the Clide starter. Beats falling buttons and double jump but doesn't work vs Beowulf (vs him use jLP jMK jHK)).
