Xbox Game is The Demo When Offline

So, I have had Skullgirls on Xbox for a while, my internets out (uploading from phone) and when I start the game to play with my pals it starts up the demo. I mainly bought the game on Xbox so I could play offline with some friends when they're over.
Are there any fixes? Am I doing something wrong? Has God himself forsaken me?
