Playing the Endless Beta through Crossover

I've been getting back to playing Skullgirls on PC to tryout the Endless Beta. Been giving Big Band a try; love his play-style. However I play on a Mac through Crossover. When I play it like this it makes all the characters blink like crazy. Everything else in the game works just fine. This is the only issue that has come up. It's not unplayable, but it's bordering very close. Anyone know what causes this so I can fix it?
