After being misled by another thread title, I have felt the need to make this thread about the great anti-hero Wario! For those who don't know, he is the opposite version of Mario: fat, greedy, rotten, and prone to wrestling/butt-slamming/punching/doing nasty things to get as much money as he can.
Personally, I remember seeing the original Warioland game from someone at a caribbean resort and going "WHOA! What's this?!?" My interest was piqued even more when I got my hands on a gameboy color and my first game, Warioland 2. Because who would've thought a game where you cannot die could be so difficult? I've beaten it several times over the course of more than 10 years, and the fact i'm still finding secrets is either testament to the design or proof of my scrubbiness.
Warioland 3 was also great, as was 4. I never got around to playing any other of the games since, but I'm trying to find a copy of Warioland: Shake It somewhere nearby so I can borrow a roommate's wii to play it. Because God damn is the music good. Have a listen and then describe stuff Wario related.
Edit: Because I can't figure out the difference between peaked and piqued.
