Coolest Fighting Game Move Ever?

No, I mean the move is called "Blue Slider." Gliding Ram is what the people who wrote the USA manual for Oratorio Tangram put; a needless name change by people who weren't supposed to be doing localization changes of any kind. A bunch of other attacks suffered, too-- the railgun's name is "Radical Zapper," the rifle is "Neutral Launcher," Fei-Yen's <3 Beam is "Emotional <3 Meltdown," and all the She's Lost Control references were removed from Cypher.

edit: It would be like if Shoryuken/Dragon Punch were called "Spiral Skypunch" in the USA version of SF2. Then again, such changes are Capcom as Fuck (Akuma > Gouki, Bass > Forte, etc).

Ah, I see. For some reason I thought Blue Slider was his other (kind of useless but still cool looking) special move where he spins around, so that's what I was going for. :V I've actually never looked at a Virtual-On manual since I can only play the first two games on emulators.

I though that by now someone would have posted this already.

While not something I'd put among my fav fighting game moves of all time, I must admit kicking the Emperor so hard in the gut that he puked brought me more satisfaction than any actual fatality ever.

I'm sad that this is the best I could find.

But no move, in any game ever, is as satisyfing to land as this. If you haven't seen it, you don't even know.

Bang's fu rin ka zan + astral finish. Can't be more awesome than that...

... Except for mega man's final smash. That's a whole new level

Jinpachi's Hadaka Jigoku (his grapple) from Tekken Tag 2. He snaps your neck, jumps in the air while holding your head, and slams you face-first into the ground. One of many reasons why Jinpachi is a total BAMF.

the power of the lucha spirit is so strong in El Fuerte
shame he'll probably never appear after Capcom moves on from SF4

Well that's because he's going to settle down with Rainbow Mika and make beautiful grappler children.

but... El Fuerte isn't a grappler...

He's a grappler in the sense that he's a wrestler and wrestling is literally synonymous with grappling

but he doesn't grapple. he's a super rushdown character like Captain America.

not saying I wouldn't ship El Fuerte with R. Mika (mosatly because El Fuerte is a huge R. Mika fanboy in the Udon comics) but he's still not a fighting game grappler.

Both of his Ultras, as well as two of his main mixup moves (and his anti-air, but it doesn't hit against grounded opponents to tell) are throws. I'd say he's a grappler.

Some of my favorites:

And what happens here at 3:34, now I know there's a lot of variations of this move in fighters, but I've never seen one that actually cracks the Earth open.

The Knee Of Justice (c'mon guys, nobody said this yet)
