Having no description on those pages, I dono how to unlock them.
Beat Arcade mode with a given character on your team. Some things unlock from Character N's arcade mode, some unlock for ALL arcade modes done, some unlock for ALL stories done.
Not sure if this was answered in the last 4 pages. :^|
Hey come on, don't you want to see those two in the game? I know I do!
If that's any indication we are DEFINITELY going to talk about how they are approached. :^P
Hello. I usually do not log onto the forum that often, but I just wanted to ask a quick question regarding a specific backer reward.
[snip]
I was wondering if doing so would make me lose out on that opportunity.
It should not screw anything up to upgrade. Even if SOMETHING screws up, if you tell us what happened (at the worst, point to this post) you won't.
You too? I've been waiting for him since the original announcement trailer!
Hopefully they will reveal him before the campaign ends.
That depends on if it's funded, doesn't it? :^P
So Mike I gotta ask, since Indivisible is inspired a lot from Super Metroid will the weapon tree be a set of linear upgrades like it was in that game?
"Linear upgrades" as opposed to what other thing?
How on Earth are SM's upgrades linear? Have you SEEN the sequence breaks or the low% stuff or...anything?
To me, skill trees are linear upgrades because you ARE LITERALLY REQUIRED to unlock earlier skills in order to get later ones. There IS no other order. Sure, you can choose which branch to pursue, but you can't get the last ability in a branch without the first one. You can TOTALLY do that in SM.
I haven't played it but I have watched a fair amount of footage and it seems like the Ice Beam is this kind of upgrade for platforming stuff, but at the same time makes a lot of the enemy combat irrelevant after that.
Don't judge how the game works from speedruns,
go play the game. You do not get Ice Beam until way far in, and it doesn't work like you think it does. You'd hella enjoy it, and it would help this topic. :^) Seriously, you should not speak from a position of ignorance.
And anyway, Indivisible IS NOT Super Metroid, so even if Ice Beam were somehow gamebreaking in SM, that balance choice does not apply to Indivisible at all? The part of SM's items that I am inspired by is that they are presented by exploration or plot, rather than level ups or shops.
