Hey there, my username is Mysterygamer3k but my real name is Michael/Mike, whichever you prefer to use. I've been interested in Skullgirls since it released on consoles, owning a copy on the PS3 as well as on the PC now. I have a bit of a history with fighting games, but I am still by and large what I would consider nothing more than a novice.

You see, I never practiced in any hardcore manner, I'm not surrounded by friends that play the game a lot, or people in general that support much of anything I do or enjoy. But I love Skullgirls as a game in general as well as loving it's style and characters, it's all so well designed for being an original fighting game. The work that the entire Skullgirls development team has put into making it what it is now and how much work MikeZ puts in daily to try and make the game better day by day and improve it all to make it the best possible fighting game it can be, inspires me immensely.

The only downside for me is that I have few methods or people to learn from. I may understand the basics of fighters, like blocking mix-ups, how combos are supposed to work and know at the very least a little bit about things that exist such as resets and all of those mechanics. I don't actually have any experience with those things, I'm entirely out of practice, I don't know much of any combos with characters, I don't know any characters more than others or match-up knowledge at all. I want to become better at this game and it's what I'm striving to do and anyone willing to help me is more than welcome to friend me and send me messages, as long as it's constructive or helpful, any input is appreciated.

I'm glad to be a part of a community like this, for such a great game and I hope to meet many people and make many friends by being involved with the community and participating in it as much as I can.
