Somewhat getting back to a normal flow of life today and wanted to stop in and say thank you all for attending. I hope you had a good time this year.

This is true. People still play characters other than Big Band though. Now imagine, a Top 8 that is nothing but music and giant air normals. It would be an amazing moment in history.

Big Band mirrors are the truth and I'm just trying to show you all the light. There is a depressing lack of Big Band advocacy on this forum. No. You're gonna get more Big Band and you're gonna like it.

Gonna have some SG announcements in the next few weeks. While this has been true every year (I think), this is definitely the year to bring everyone you can to CB! Also, I will personally refund $5 for anyone who gets more Big Band players to sign up. I may even do $5 per Big Band player. Hit...

Spectators can, and are encouraged to, play casuals games in the arcade room. This is how fans turn into tournament players in my opinion. We do ask that they refrain from playing on tournament consoles. If your friend has a good time please encourage him to purchase a Combo Breaker shirt or...

General update: SG is way ahead of where it was same date last year for early reg. As always the team won't be revealing numbers until reg is closed but representation wise you're all competing with, or beating, traditional "big dog" games right now. I mean this in all sincerity and not as...

They'll ship 1st week of May. So unless you're planning on living in Illinois for a couple weeks you should be alright. If you are planning to live in Illinois for a couple weeks though the custom badges do have a pick-up-at-the-event option. All the same custom fanciness but less of the line...

Looks like Xrd Rev is fine with legacy controllers. The site will be updated shortly.

I'll check again on my end and ask the core Xrd team. My understanding is that a DS4 to activate a legacy controller is necessary in Xrd. If thats not the case we'll update the rule set.

Pre-Cursor/Prelude Tour makes a lot of sense to me. You can use the time to establish community needs while reflecting on vehicles, rules, and resources available. This should really help your 2017-2018 tour arrive in a well-developed way. Continued luck SGT team.

Always wise to reflect. I think the most important thing, regardless of what you and your team decide to do, is that you choose to continue forward with something after you've reflected. That something is happening is important. So keep the project alive.

Comfort level, noise level, people and movement constantly in your peripheral vision, another human next to you playing. Your first tournament you'll experience aspects of play & environment that are likely very foreign and they will either make you play worse (tournament nerves) or push you...
